Summary: With this place situated on a ridge in the middle of the lake, the views were awesome from both sides of the house. The only warning is that one needs to be prepared for the rather steep drive that is takes to get in and out.

Summary: This house makes time spent there truly feel like home! It is well furnished with comfort and convenience while maintaining the charm of the location. Sitting at the top of a hill offers privacy, spectacular views and peace of the surrounding lake as well as the mountains. Numerous windows throughout, sunroom and backyard provide options for enjoying the beauty all around. The location gives you access to the Great Smokies, Blueridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest within 30 minutes as well as numerous small mountain towns or Ashville if you are looking for the city amenities. We love this small lake community and of the houses we have rented this is by far the favorite. We will return!!

Summary: Served its purpose overall. Couldn’t get ahold of the manager though. The front and back doors didn’t seem the most secure. The place just seemed like we were the first people of the season to stay in it. Also, the door to the owners suite in the back of the house was left open. However the living area was nice and the house fit our needs for the weekend.

Summary: Lovely place and the location is amazing! Perfect if a very firm mattress is what you prefer, unfortunately it's not our preference so sleep was challenging. Property is changing owners so changes may be made. We'd definitely consider staying here again despite the extra firm mattresses.

Summary: This was my second time here. The location was a short walk to my meetings in Stuart auditorium. The views of the lake from the front yard and the backyard are perfect, and the yard is beautifully cared for. Inside the house is warm and cozy and has everything you need for your stay.
