Positive: The main floor was lovely to look at with a lovely view of the water.

Negative: VERY dangerous steps leading to the upstairs. Seemed more like a ladder with carpet. Closets doors upstairs are merely boards that are very difficult to slide. The entire house has a very strong iron odor…probably from the well. It appears they have tried to ameliorate it with a water softener but it does not help. Walked to water only one time as the yard is literally covered in goose poop. The king sized bedroom on the main floor has a sliding glass door that does not lock. It has a board in the door; however, the door can still be opened about 2 inches. As a single woman, who stayed alone here for 2 nights, I did not feel safe. The tub on the main floor is poorly caulked. The pictures do it far more justice than deserved.

Summary: I will not stay here again.
