4 Bedroom House in Rockwood

Serenity Falls is a turn of the century farm house that has been completely remodeled and updated and is now a guesthouse that is 6 miles from Seven Springs Mountain Resort and 9 miles from Hidden Valley Ski Resort. The focal point inside of our mountain home is a 24 foot sunken Great room with a large eight foot Seven Springs style stone log burning fireplace with key starter for propane to help start the fire!!! The brand new black walnut wood furniture dining room overlooks the great room and is adjacent to the spacious country kitchen with brand new hickory cabinets and new countertops. Recently remodeled bathroom on first floor. Our Mountain home is very peaceful and serene whether it is spring, summer, fall or winter.
The side and back decks are a great place to relax and enjoy cook-outs with friends and family. We also have exterior speakers for our stereo system to enjoy music on the deck or by the fire ring when the children are roasting marshmallows or making s'mores. A new addition to the backyard landscape is a 34 foot two sided waterfall that is operational from May to Oct 31. This is very soothing and serene.
Another addition to our mountain landscape is a very relaxing arbor, a perfect location to watch the sunset and get a great view of the 34 foot waterfall. Plants have been added to attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Take a walk to the top of the hill and experience some fantastic views of the countryside. You may even see some deer if you go at the right time!!
Winter takes on a completely different look and feel. Sit and relax in front of a roaring fire after a long day of skiing, snowboarding or tubing and watch the snow fall through 6 large windows in the great room.

Summary: Was neat and clean. Had everything we needed to cook and entertain. Only negative was thin, non soundproof accordion doors upstairs. Could hear snoring a little too easily. Other than that, our stay was very nice and relaxing.Firewood, skiing, food, bowling, and things to do located very close by. Will definitely book again. Host communicated everything and sent all information needed about the property well before needed.

Summary: The house is lovely, the photos do not do it justice, once you walk up the stairs to the main room you are greeted with a cozy kitchen and living room. The house has plenty of space to spread out amongst your group. The Location is wonderful, only about a 15 minute drive from seven Springs which is half what it would be to try and find a place in town. We were also fortunate enough that at the end of the street we would have snow plows coming in almost daily to help keep the roads safe when driving up and down from the mountain.The host is exceptionally kind and supportive. Being at call when necessary and ready to help if needed. Even giving us extra time when needed due to a major road being closed due to ice.For anyone planning a trip to Seven Springs, I highly recommend staying at this home, for its location, quality, and hostess’s support.

Summary: We were looking for a very peaceful, quiet, comfortable and cozy place in nature. This place is more than perfect if you are looking to relax in the mountains. Service was excellent, the place was neat and clean. We thank Sandy and Al for providing such a fabtastic place and service. We want to come back again. We highly recommend this place.

Summary: Not a long drive to Seven Springs. Grounds looked beautiful covered with snow. Would love to come back in spring/summer to enjoy the deck and waterfall.

Summary: Beautiful location! Ski weekend at 7 Springs w/ family/friends. Also able to take advantage of walking the grounds of Fallingwater (under reno until 2026) and a drive thru Ohiopyle. Well-stocked kitchen. Good basement entrance for leaving all of our wet boots/coats-plus a dryer. Nice hangout area in living room with fireplace. Played games/cards which were provided. Sandy was a good communicator but allowed us to have our vacation w/ family! Thanks Sandy!

Summary: This was a great location for a New Year's ski getaway. We had two families with teenage kids, and the space worked out nicely for our needs. The great room was perfect for celebrating with the group, and the slopes were a short drive away. Sandy was an amazing host, and went out of her way to ensure our stay was a memorable one. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: The house and land is beautiful, country setting and very well kept! Our family has children that range from 15 weeks ( yes weeks) old to 18. My wife and I were looking for a place to go and unplug! Well we found it. There is internet there and tvs but we just didn’t hand out the password and this allowed us to fully reconnect as a family. More then just everyday dinner table talk then everyone in separate direction. We will definitely want to stay many more times because it’s just what we needed! And it’s not so far off the grid that getting supply’s is a total chore but the setting itself with the waterfall. Is perfect to recharge and enjoy your family, there’s room in the yards to play any outdoor sport so we had water ballon fight and kickball games. Corn hole. Ext. we didn’t have to leave if we didn’t want to. So I recommend for anyone that needs peace and quite!!!
