Summary: My wife and I needed a couple of days of quiet, away from the to-do lists and our busy daily lives. I can't imagine a better place. Our only visitors were wildlife. We read, hiked, and walked into town. The place is clean, modern, and welcoming. A huge thanks for all the small touches. They are noticed!

Summary: Jo’s cottage was the perfect jumping off point for all our activities in the Driftless! Hiking and swimming at Gov. Dodge and Wildcat Mountain State Parks, bike ride on the Military Ridge trail, antiquing in the little towns in the region, and enjoying all Mineral Point has to offer, especially friendly and accommodating artisans! The cottage itself was a delight — spotlessly clean and perfect for the two of us to enjoy gentle breezes, gorgeous sunsets, and visits from wildlife, including the deer who appeared several mornings. We greatly enjoyed the treats Jo thoughtfully left for us and hope to return some day soon!

Summary: This charming guest house is tucked away in a rural area, but still close to town and situated for short day trips- Spring Green, Dubuque, House on The Rock... Beautiful home, well equipped, clean and comfy bed. We had no problem with WIFI connection, but actually were too busy relaxing out on the deck overlooking acres of natural beauty and wildlife. A few days to unwind- this was just what we had hoped for! Thank you Jo and Andy for sharing your home with us!

Summary: A cozy, well-kept and up to date cottage just right for a small group of people. We loved the grounds and visits from the deer. On one of the numerous hills of the driftless area, we had a great view of Mineral Point and the surrounding landscape. We enjoyed visiting the town and nearby Dodgeville State Park. We would definately stay here again if in the area.

Summary: This house is located in the middle of farmland and wild flower fields. The house is perfect for sitting and reading and the Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The home is comfortable for two couples. Since the drive to the house is private, there is no traffic noise, just cows mooing. We were very happy and comfortable with this house.

Summary: I was so happy to have found this place for a visit to Mineral Point with a friend (she is from the area). It was located in the most beautiful spot, clean and perfect for our week-long stay. It had everything we could possibly need. We were in and out everyday, and couldn't wait to get back in the evenings just to hang out! We were able to visit with Joanna and her friend, whom we met at Tony's Tap, when they joined us one evening out on the patio. Joanna even brought us some of her homemade chili....I must admit I ate 2 bowls full! We couldn't have asked for a better time in Wisconsin, and promise to come back in the future. I feel like I have found new friends and they won't be forgotten anytime soon! Thank you, Joanna for making our trip one of the best we have had!
