Come and experience the area and lake that our family gets away to every chance we can get! When we started coming to Serpent Lake we knew it was special – it’s a place where the pace of life slows and memories grow!
At Cedar Shores on Serpent you’ll delight in 200+ ft of prime sandy lakeshore with zero depth entry for swimming. Spectacular sunrise and sunset views to begin and end your relaxing days in a peaceful bay on Serpent Lake. This is a perfect lake for fishing, waterskiing, wake boarding, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding and all water based activities. There is plenty of room at the private dock to tie up your speed boat, fishing boat or pontoon. When you're ready for a change of pace, the cabin is within biking distance to the Cuyuna Mountain Bike Trail Head so take a ride and afterwards challenge your family or friends to a game of Ping-Pong or Bean Bag Toss back at the cabin!
Cedar Shores on Serpent is a fully-furnished 2 bedroom + loft, 2 bathroom, up-north lake cabin with classic charm, gas fireplace, eat-in kitchen, and plenty of hang out space. The kitchen includes cooking and dining ware, four-burner stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and toaster. A natural gas grill is also available for use. Guests can use the 2 car attached garage to get away from the elements. The cabin is within a mile of main street Crosby that includes a grocery store, liquor store, shopping, restaurants & a brewery.

Summary: I don’t know if you just rent out place or go there yourselves, but there is mold in downstairs bathroom & both bathroom vents need to be vacuumed. We ran air conditioning, most of time. Shut it off when we left. Didn’t quite understand about setting it at 50. It was all off when we got there. Loved the garage games!! Very relaxing weekend. Thank you so much.😀

Summary: House was clean and worked out great for our family. The ping pong table was enjoyed by everyone. The noise from the busy road behind the cabin was the only drawback.

Summary: Property was clean and well-kept. Nice additions with the entertainment garage and entire second floor. We spent most of the time in garage b/c it had a better space for our family to gather. Great dining table that seats 8. Overall a good space for our needs.

Summary: We have a total of 3 family, they all enjoy the cabin and lake. The only down fall was that everyone one of the patoon that came by comes close to the dock. Most of the kids gave up on the 2nd of fish. I rated 1 star for the neighbor due to no respect to people fishing on the dock. Otherwise everything was great.

Summary: This is such a charming place in a great setting. The sunrise/sunset pics are great. The sounds of nature are all around you as you sit by the fire and watch the lake. But if you forget something for dinner or snacks, you're a quick trip into town to get anything you need. The place sleeps plenty of people and the bathrooms are fully stocked. We never ran out of hot water. The towels are comfy! The kitchen is well stocked - we weren't every without dishes or utensils. The upgraded garage is a welcome addition - you'll love hanging out on the couch while others play foosball or ping pong. The new screen door in the garage will allow great lake views even if it's raining. Most importantly, the owners are always just a few minutes away via very fast responses and have been extremely helpful for both of our trips. Love it here!

Summary: The cabin was much bigger than expected and has more amenities for our family. The water was clear and had a mostly sand bottom (wish we had water shoes for rocks). The garage was set up with foosball, ping pong and a couch. We spent a lot of time in that space. The upstairs space is HUGE! Our kids could play and hang out up there. Crosby and Deerwood are less than 10 minutes away. Deerwood had a little splash pad and brand new playground. Crosby had great choices for ice cream, coffee, outdoor dining, and an excellent playground on the water. We could drive or boat there. The owners recommended a boat rental place and we got a pontoon for the week, which was hours of entertainment every day. New furniture through the house was a fantastic surprise - loved the dining room set and the chairs next to the fire. The bar in the kitchen was very helpful for food prep and serving. Negatives: The beds were not excellent, but were alright. It is a lot closer to the road than it looks in pictures. It was still safe to let our kids play outside, but it was noisy and I didn’t like sleeping with the windows open due to car noise in the mornings. One of the main floor bedrooms has a curtain for the door, which I couldn’t tell in photos. Not very private. Overall, the whole experience was fantastic and even better than we could have asked for! My parents are already talking about going back again next summer.

Summary: Cabin is as advertised. Great lake. Great communication from owners. Cabin is closer to a busy road than what we first thought, so there is some road noise, but proximity to Crosby is great. Would definitely go back.
