The market town of Liskeard is 15 minutes by car. Siblyback Lake, 6 miles, offers angling and a water sports, and salmon and trout fishing is also available on local rivers. There are riding stables, clay pigeon shooting grounds (professional tuition available) nearby and golf courses in the area. Onsite, there is an astronomical observatory. Summary: We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jupiter Lodge. The single track roads around the area could sometimes, be quite challenging but well worth it. Plenty of places to see without travelling too far. Accommodation very spacious just slightly dated for some tastes but has everything you need to enable you to enjoy your stay,

Summary: We had a really great week. The house was very clean and well stocked and the layout worked well for two families. The neighbours kindly got their telescopes out and the children had a fantastic evening looking at the stars!

Summary: Jupiter lodge is the perfect place to spend a holiday in Cornwall. A great location off the beaten track but with easy access to all parts of Cornwall. The lodge is clean and tidy with plenty of room and everything you would need for a happy visit. The information from the owner prior to the visit was spot on. Accurate directions and plenty of info about the lodge and the surrounding area. I would highly recommend Jupiter lodge.

Summary: We had such a fabulous time during our stay. It was lovely. A wonderful surprise welcome of fresh scones with cream and jam in the fridge. We took my elderly Mom and the ground floor bedroom with en-suite suited perfectly. Amazing views. Thank you. We’d go again for sure.

Summary: Jupiter lodge is one of 4 lodges set on the hillside with stunning views. It is a quiet and tranquil place and the lodge is great for larger families. We had a lovely week and the lodge met our needs well. Would definitely recommend especially if you want a quiet break away from it all.

Summary: Lovely lodge & location. Peaceful, unspoilt views & within easy reach of beaches or attractions such as Eden project etc. The attention to detail was great...Everything from tea bags to toiletries! The layout with 3 bathrooms made it very easy for 2 families holidaying together. The accessibility was especially handy for us ( downstairs bedroom & wet room). Wifi was a little hit & miss due to the rural area, but it mostly worked for our needs. Wonderful welcome from Ken & Muriel. We would happily stay again!
