Summary: The Shadowcrest was a delightful, quiet and wonderful stay. Brendan is an amazing host. Friendly, helpful, gracious and one of the best we have come across. The room was a combination of old style Victorian and modern. On a very quiet street. Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: Loved everything about my stay! Room was wonderful and the bed was heavenly! House decorated & furnished beautifully! The porch was so comfortable & cozy! Sitting out there was so peaceful & serene!! Brenden was fantastic!! Would highly recommend staying at Shadowcrest!!

Summary: I can’t recommend this charming inn enough. Beautiful, clean, comfortable, peaceful and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The day after I left I booked my next stay. I can’t wait to go back. You must stay here if you are in the area.

Summary: I would give Shadowcrest ten stars if I could! An absolutely beautiful home in the Catskills. The attention to detail in this guest house is amazing. Everywhere I looked was something delightful. I could lounge on the porch for hours. The bed and the pillows were comfortable, but the shower was to die for. Brendan was charming and engaging to talk to. And my dog was welcome. I can not say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back!

Summary: Incredible house, very vintage and cozy; the porch in the front of the house is out of this world on a rainy night - you can see literally all of the stars! The room was very nice, the shower, the bed was quite comfortable. The best part of it all was our host; he was extremely helpful, friendly and down to earth. My wife and I loved the area and the gourmet markets and organic food we ate literally everywhere; everything is fresh from the local farms. We even found (through our host) a local Buddha temple/monastery that we actually went in and visited, the people were very very welcoming. Highly recommend a stay here. I give our host 11 Starz, SOLID.

Summary: What a nice weekend away in the Catskills. Brendan the host was incredibly warm and welcoming. The bed in our room was very comfortable, furnishings were thoughtfully placed and the house was beautiful. Absolutely loved the front porch and the shower in our room. Can’t wait to stay again. So affordable as well.

Summary: Brendan was very friend. We had a very relaxing stay. We felt like we had the place to ourselves, it was so quiet. Bed was very comfortable so slept very well. Bath was nicely remodeled. It was the perfect location for us to attend a local wedding.

Summary: We had a great stay at Shadowcrest! Brendan was very communicative with the check in process and was very hospitable and friendly during our stay. He gave us some great local recommendations which we enjoyed. Shadowcrest was clean and made you feel right at home. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Brendan for a great time!
