Summary: Handy to Stratford Festival and economic. But a very basic, plain motor inn. Front appearance odd with fountain in a parking lot. Staff friendly.

Summary: We booked a Queen sized bed, but we were given a room with a double bed. We did not complain. We did not understand how to work the TV, but the lady came at my request and got it to the channel that we wanted. The day was very hot and the room needed A/C which it had but I was surprised that I had to set it up, as opposed to it being already set up for us. There was a frig which we did not use. There was no microwave but we did not want it anyway. There were only 2 pillows on the bed. I should have asked for more pillows as we like to have one between our legs when we sleep. It was late by the time I noticed so did not want to disturb the family running the Inn. The password for the internet was there and worked. They have a room with tea/coffee and Dad’s cookies that everyone can access. Would I stay there again? Yes, but I would not accept the double bed, and would ask for more pillows.

Summary: Very tiny room. Noisy wall mounted heater that came on and off frequently. Had to turn it off to get some sleep and put up with a cold room. No in room coffee maker or microwave. Small tv. Some self service instant coffee and cookies available in morning in another room. Appears to be no one there and no access to the rest of the inn much of the time. Won't be back. Better options in Stratfor for similar price.

Summary: The room was very small also the bathroom was so small the door opened up at was against the bathtub. There was only 2 small towels for showering. Also the tv only got 1 station no wi-fi or satelite. The bed was only a double when I paid for the extra queen size. I will not being staying at this motel again not very pleased for the price. Also the hall was very cold and that cold came under the door which had a gap and made the floors very cold in the room.

Summary: Stayed one night as the weather conditions were poor. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. My only complaints were the bed and the heat. The heater was very noisy and the floors were very cold. The mattress was uncomfortable. It was a good stay for one night due to bad weather.

Summary: Our room was very bare-bones, but it was extremely clean. I was quite comfortable. My husband thought the pillows were too hard. Next time we bring our own pillows. Plenty of hot water and the heat worked fine. We would stay here again. Easy on the budget.

Summary: Staying at the Shakespeare Inn is perfectly fine if you want a place to sleep without the steep Stratford prices. No frills, reasonably comfortable, and very clean.

Summary: Room was OK, beds were fine but bathroom was very small and fan was very noisy. For the price it should have included breakfast. I would rate this as a 2 star hotel..

Summary: The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, very quiet and the staff very friendly. There was a very, very high smell at reception from burning incense, very nauseating. There was no smell beyond reception. The Lock was not working well to initial room, could not open the door to the room with the key, a different room was offered right away. The door, around the side entering the building to the rooms was also not working properly. The inside of the lock came out with the key, we had safety concerns, not sure if the lock could be picked easily, or even if the door was secure. Space between the toilet and the sink very limited, the washroom door touches the toilet when opened, if you are a big person it will be tight. Not enough space between the shelf above the sink and the sink, if you are a bigger/taller person. Could have a clock in the room. The motel grounds was clean and maintained well, quiet area, 15 minutes from downtown Stratford.
