Positive: We had the most amazing time at Shanti. Everything was perfect. The penthouse was immaculate and clean and the aircon was so lovely and cold! The pool was perfect and the kids absolutely loved it. The staff were so kind and helpful and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast food cooked by Vanessa was 10/10!!! El Paradise!!! 🤙🤙🤙

Positive: The staff was very friendly and the service was great. Everything you need but not fussy. Luis made sure we had reliable and safe transportation to excursions.

Negative: A little better storage for luggage would be nice.

Summary: Luis, Vanessa and the 2 other ladies were accommodating and helpful. An overall great vibe.

Positive: Luis and the ladies at breakfast are super super friendly and always there to help. The room looks quite new, the bed is comfortable! They also have drinking water there where you can just fill a glass/ bottle while relaxing at the pool. That was very convenient. You can also buy drinks & store it in the fridge in the kitchen.

Negative: There is no hot water in the shower! The water is not super cold but not hot at all (it depends on what you are used to). It only has one handle in the shower so you can‘t change the temperature at all. We were expecting a hot shower for the price we paid (compared to other hotels we had in Guatemala so far). You can lock your room however it‘s a sliding door and you can simply open the second window without needing a key😂 Nothing happened but it felt strange that we‘re locking our door when you can simply slide the second window and enter the room. Sunbeds at the pool would be great too.

Summary: Super friendly staff & delicious breakfast. No hot water in the shower

Positive: What a gorgeous place! The pool is a real highlight and much needed in the heat of El Paredon after a sandy day at the beach. Luis and his team gave exceptional service, always with a smile. We were able to check in early and store our bags after check out. Every detail is attended too. Breakfast is delicious. And a well equipped kitchen for guests use. We spent more than we have on the rest of our trip but it was well worth it for a last couple of days in paradise. We wholeheartedly recommend you go!

Negative: Wifi wasn't so strong in our room but Luis allowed me to do my work meeting from another location in the hotel for which I was very grateful.

Positive: Shanti hotel was such a beautiful experience! I was enchanted by the design of the hotel both interior and exterior. The rooms are exquisite and unique, and the pool was phenomenal for relaxing by. Being so close to the beach was amazing for sunrise, sunset walks and of course surfing! I am so excited for my return to Shanti!
