Positive: I cannot recommend Shark Lounge enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. I was on a freedive week with my work and, due to my usual hotel being fully booked, I stayed at Shark Lounge—and I couldn’t have been happier. The lodge is beautifully run by Maazif and his wife, with Hassan managing day-to-day with such care, warmth, and attention to detail. Hassan was always there for anything I needed—making sure the place was clean and tidy, meals were ready, and offering a friendly chat. It truly felt like family. Maazif has created something very special here, and it’s clear how much heart has gone into making Shark Lounge such a welcoming place. I left with a beautiful friendship, incredible memories, and a strong desire to return. Thank you for being my home away from home—I can’t wait to be back!

Positive: Had the best time in Shark Lounge. Maazif and Hassan were incredible hosts, always making sure we felt at home and helping us with whatever we needed. The hotel has everything you need, is clean and in a good location. You can rent bicycles which is very handy and breakfast is always adapted to the time you need. Would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Fuvahmulah!!

Positive: I had an amazing time there! The hotel and garden are very nice, the room was cute and super clean, and Hassan, Ahmed and all the people there are just amazing. They make you feel so welcome and comfortable as soon as you arrived, like you have known them forever. It was more than an excellent service, they are your little family there. And of course the swimming pool was perfect. There is no bikini beach in Fuvahmulah so having a swimming pool to rest in between dives, or take sun when you don’t feel like diving is a must. Only good memories from Shark Lounge. Recommend 200%

Positive: The hotel is great. The staff is really friendly and helpful and they made me feel very welcome. The room was big and very clean. Also, having a swimming pool is a blessing (there is no bikini beach in Fuvahmulah)

Negative: The only down side is that the rooms are a bit dark, which doesn't matter so much if you spend most of the time outside or by the pool :)

Positive: - the guesthouse was super clean - Pool was amazing and clean, they Designed it really nicely and relaxing in the sun has been really good - they even took care about vegeterian food - Hussein even woke up for ne so that I could have breakfast at 3.15am before my flight - the guesthouse Personal was really welcoming an helpful - scooter and bike rent was available - organised the taxi to and from airport - location is great (u have everything around you in max 10min walking distance)

Negative: The room was quite dark.
