Positive: This is truly a hidden gem. Adela has been a host for 30 years and you can tell she's very professional and the hospitality level is just out of this world. The room was exactly like in the pictures, the place was very well-maintained, clean and luxurious. The views from the room were great. And the breakfast is like a high tea experience, tasty and served so nicely you feel like you're in a 5-star hotel. I would highly recommend it!

Positive: Breakfast was wonderful, thank you Adele, especially for accommodating myself and my father’s dietary needs. Great stay in a beautiful part of the world. Adele was warm and welcoming and gave us suggestions on where to eat for dinner. Not too many options in this charming town, but the recommended pub was all we needed. Great service, high quality food, and lovely waterside seating area. Fantastic views from the guesthouse also. Room was great, so clean and comfortable. Brilliant stay all round. Thanks 🙏

Positive: We loved the sea views from the dining room and bedroom. We liked the layout of the family room and the attention to detail overall. Adele's recommendation to eat at The Dock Wall was excellent. We liked her personality and sharing of stories./ history.
Negative: While we loved the healthy breakfast we would have liked a bigger portion and a variety of cereals. We also would like a better sample of local cheeses, hams and yogurts for which Cork is famous. The high steps and hill walk wouldn't have suited guests only a little older than us..

Positive: Breakfast (Continental) was excellent and beautifully presented. All the breads and cakes were home made and fruit was fresh and tasty. We were allocated a room with a sea view and true to form we had a corner room with views of the harbor from both windows. The rooms were spotless and well maintained. The atmosphere in the guest house was most inviting.
Negative: We couldn't find fault with this accommodation.
