Positive: Shellharbour Haven was the perfect weekend getaway. Located 2 minutes from a cafe, across the street from the water and 4 minutes from the main street, the property was perfectly situated. Derek and Ange are simply lovely people, hospitable and helpful. They very cleverly incorporated 2 studios into their exiting dwelling which was really cosy and boasted all the mod cons of an apartment. The kitchen was more than just a kitchenette with a full sized fridge. The bathroom offered all new and modern fittings from the bathtub to the toilet. An outdoor "terrace" with a built in counter top and bar stools was an ingenious use of a rather slim space. It had views across to the water even though it is through the neighbouring property which wasn't a real issue. The smart tv was excellent as we could watch Netflix from bed and the aircon which was set to the side of the room meant that we could keep the space cool without having the blower on us when we slept.

We loved the atmosphere and felt relaxed and welcomed from the moment we arrived. Shellharbour Haven has a calm but classy beach vibe. You can tell Derek and Ange really care about making guests feel welcome and relaxed. The apartment has a great layout and every little touch felt carefully picked, which made our stay feel really special. Shellharbour Haven was peaceful and beautiful and it provided us with one of the most relaxing beach stays we’ve ever had. Derek and Ange genuinely care about making guests feel at home.

Positive: Everything about this place was amazing. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, the place was impeccably clean and comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were full of every appliance and amenities one could ask for, and the location was great, easy to access and with the swimming pool just down the road. I could not recommend this place highly enough, and will be sure to visit again if and when I find myself in the area again.
