Pull up/dip bar, fire pit, outdoor furniture to stargaze & beautiful views as far as you can see. Sleeps 6 comfortably, + couch!
Wifi, Firestick, parking right by the entrance with easy access! One story home that will leave you feeling FILLED up. Opportunity to take evening walks in peace & quiet, or enjoy the sunrise with a steamy cup of coffee. Would be PERFECT for a bachelor or bachelorette stay or for wedding guests! Old Bethany Wedding Venue is only a backroad away! Pack your rain boots so the weather won’t stop you exploring the beautiful creation of nature!
Covid won’t stop our guests from being able to get away for their staycation, GUARANTEED. Owners live less than a mile away on the conjoining 56 acres, so they are only a PHONE CALL AWAY if you need anything! PETS ALLOWED, outside ONLY on a leash and inside if NOT on furniture. Will NOT tolerate animas chasing our cows, PERIOD. $50 Pet Fee, Box fans, kid toys, pack n play, high chair seat, ALL STORED in the closet so you don’t have to pack those extras (; water filtration system for filtered drinking water & shower filtration ON SITE.
Check in is at 4 PM or after and check out is at 12 PM the day of checkout.
Other things to note
The Shophouse is secluded and private, conveniently located within 25-30 minutes to everything Waco, Temple & Belton have to offer. The Shophouse has king sized bed in the master bedroom with an additional bedroom through the closet with a queen sized bunk bed with a full bathroom- all making up a 900 square feet. Sit on the outdoor couch for stargazing or taking in that silent and PEACEFUL sunrise with your coffee in hand, or grill steaks on the outdoor charcoal grill and watch the sun set over
our little piece of Heaven.
It's slow and quiet out here and that's the way we like it!
The kitchen has a full sized stove with an oven, refrigerator, freezer, air fryer, blender, crockpot,
microwave and an outdoor grill. BRING FIREWOOD/CHARCOAL for grilling/fire pit. MAKE SURE TO CHECK McLennan co online to see if we are in a burn ban if you want to use fire pit. If you choose to cook, all pots and pans, grilling utensils are available.
This property is located on 56 acres with it's own private entrance off a paved road. There are neighbors close by, but this is a very private quiet space, and you WON’T have interruptions.

There is a pond on the property with gate access right outside the front door of the Shophouse. Fish aren’t quite big enough for catch and release!
Other things to note
This is a working farm with cows. No matter what they say, please do not let them out of their designated areas. They'd love to sit out back and have a beer with you if they could. :)
Our cows LOVE bread so if you want to feed right from your hand bring them a slice (: Just be SUPER careful to keep ALL packaging away because they’re quick and WILL snatch it and could die if they eat plastic!!
Every day is a new adventure at on our working Farm.
We live on 56 acres in a rural area about 10 mins from i35. When we say we are "going to town" this is Temple or Waco both about 15-20 minutes away down I-35. Out here, there is little traffic, we do have neighbors near but you will feel like you have the whole place
to yourself. It's laid back, easy going and no stress. Watch a few Sunrises out back, grill some steaks and enjoy what Temple, Belton, Salado and Waco have to offer just minutes away.
