Summary: Really enjoyed the cottage. Very quiet and well equipped. A few more directions on how things worked would have been helpful but that didn’t take away from the lovely setting and great experience. I would stay there again!

Summary: Amazing to see the sea & mountains plus bridge. Inside cottage is quite old fashion as lovely. Should have do better than that. Quite poor communication between us & them via email. They seem avoid the problems I ask nicely. A mouse live in cottage. One loose window as noise when windy. I have to put tea towel on it. Also one bed is not properly mattress! They put old sofa long cushions under bed! Unbelievable

Summary: The cottage is in an amazing location on Achill Island and from this point it is very simple to visit all the great locations in the nearby. The communication with the property was very simple and clear, as also the check-in/check-out process. Probably must be improved the house cleanliness and the furniture that are quite aged. A WiFi network could be useful.

Summary: Felt like I was stepping into my grandma's home. property is dated, and could do with modernization. However, what it lacked in modern amenities, it made up for in its rustic charm. We loved it there and were sad to leave but we will definitely come back and stay there. The fireplace was a nice bonus. 🙂

Summary: Having seen this cottage on the web read the reviews only one bad review.we cancelled the hotel and took the cottage. On arrival collected key off designated person who was polite and friendly and gave me directions to house about 5km away. Turning off the road we were on a rough stone road with the grass dragging the bottom of the car for about 50 m. Then a gate and a tarmac drive with well manicured hedging down to the house all looking great brilliant scenery.had a bit of bother with the key in and out till i got the right spot to open the door.there was an open fire place with a bale of briquetts in the basket,the floors were concrete with a few rugs thrown on them with lots of stains on the concrete ,more of a museam than a place to stay.the bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable .the central heating was on in the morning and evening on timer there was plenty of hot water.the weather was good but the house was cold ,musty smell from wardrobe left clothes on second bed,on sunday we bought 6 fire logs for the evenings ,we traveled around during the day and came back in the evenings.there was a tv with all the chanells.there was a brilliant view from the sitting room across the bay that was the highlight.the bathroom left a lot to be desired,sink unit all cracked bottom of shower curtain torn and rusty radiator net curtain tied up in on the window with clear glass. The house was lovely on the outside but depressing on the inside .On wedensday evening we packed up the car and left thursday morning cutting our holiday short.

Summary: A guest manual needs to be developed for this property. A How to guide regarding heat, fireplace, etc. Also, better communication with guests whom are renting this cottage. Cottage could use some Tender Loving Care.
