Summary: The house was very nice. It was just as pictured. The pool was so much fun. We practically lived in it. We did have a few small issues but they took care of them right away. Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: We rented out Shore Having Fun for a bachelorette weekend. We were trying to check in early, but the house has a policy that you have to call the morning of check in to see if early check in is available. We were allowed early entry around 1:30, but the code still was not allowing us to enter. Finally, around 2 we were given a temporary code and told that the maintenance team would be coming to change the batteries on the lock pads. We were not aware that the only way to get from downstairs to upstairs was the outside stairs. This was only a minor inconvenience though. The fridge was also not cold and didn't get super cold while we were there and there was no thermostat to turn the cold any lower. There was The maintenance guy did show up to replace the batteries for us. But then the AC was not working. They sent out two repair men for that issue and finally towards the end of our first night, that was resolved. The next day, we were driving the golf cart and got a flat tire and had to call the emergency number to come and replace the golf cart for us. Although we had issues, the company was always willing to help us and make sure that the issues were still addressed.

Summary: Our stay could've been better first of all the pool was dirty. I reported it and all y'all could say was they cleaned it 2 hours before we arrived. Second not sure if the downstairs bed sheets were changed we found a tooth pick under the comforter. Third the golf cart key had to be wiggled every time for about 3-5 minutes before using it. I called and reported that as we'll only response was I'll let them know on Monday meanwhile my check out was Sunday. Fourth the freezer needed to be cleaned built up ice was melting on the floor. The front door and WiFi code was wrong office gave me new code. I found a paper with WiFi information way different from email. My biggest disappointment overall was the dirty pool! We only rented this place because we would have our own private pool!

Summary: Day 1 we arrived 15 minutes early code didn't work so I called office and was told sternly it wasn't check in time and I needed to wait until 4pm. Waited until 4pm code still did not work luckily back door was unlocked so went in. Continued to try code on front door it didn't work so around 5:30 I called office to tell them code to door does not work she stated they would went maintenance over and well Maintenance never arrived. House was beautiful but could have been cleaner sand on couches and multiple beds felt like there was sand in beds. Down stairs basketball game was broken my husband fixed it so kids could play. Fridge never felt like it was going to cool but finally did over 24hours later. Day 2 called office back notified that door code didn't work again they reset code that code still didn't work they once again said they would send maintenance and maintenance never showed up so our entire stay we had to leave house unlocked. Also Wi-Fi login and password were wrong called office to notify this and get correct Wi-Fi login and I was told to look on back of routers but nothing was on the back of the routers so we remained with no Wi-Fi at all which was very inconvenient considering my autistic non verbal niece was there and wanted desperately to watch her little videos and shows from the internet but she couldn't. Then day 3 living room tv said disconnected from internet so we couldn't watch tv either. Pool was great size and kept clean but pool pump kept messing up and jets to pool did not work for longer then 1 hour at a time informed pool person when they were present and they stated that pool pump had been messing up and he been trying to convince owners to replace it for past two years. Last day of stay check out is at 11am cleaning people arrived at 10am and we felt rushed to leave. I would never stay at Shore Having Fun Again I called the day I left and made a complaint supervisor was suppose to call still haven't. Management needs to be nicer and more attentive considering the price you pay to stay in these beautiful beach homes. Last year I stayed Wait-N-Sea and had zero complaints. Saddens me to even complain but not happy with my stay at all!

Summary: I was very excited to stay in your home as this was going to be my first experience in a beach house. Within 45 minutes I realized I couldn't open the freezer to the refrigerator. When I made the call I was pleased to hear that someone would be sent out. I was told to leave the freezer open to let the ice thaw out but I had freezer items to place in there immediately and couldn't. I had to go to the store and buy quite a few bags of ice to keep my freezer items somewhat cold. I found a sign on the fridge that said "3 to 24 hours for fridge to cool". Well those 24 hours came and went and nothing in the fridge ever cooled nor did anything in the freezer ever freeze. I was never able to put ice in there because it simply turned into water and dripped out onto the floor as we realized one morning waking up. Secondly, the side door to the pool had a sign that read "Keep door closed" and while going in and out as we unpacked I realized the door was hanging by a thread and I struggled to close even open it much less close it. It was an accident waiting to happen and it turns out when your maintenance guy arrived he found several screws just laying around in that area. The upstairs bathroom had no water pressure in the sink. And the most important thing that we all truly use is WI-FI, our WI-FI never worked. Yes you sent someone out but I was told there was a power outage and basically I rented a house that said it had WI-FI but on my visit I wasn't going to have any. I was able to see everyone else's wifi connections but your house. I was not able to play music as I wanted while on vacation at our beach house and that was very frustrating and upsetting to me.

Summary: The house was great. Enough room for everyone and the kids loved all of the amenities - ping pong table, shuffle board, games. We did have several issues with Wi Fi and the appliances. We arrived on Friday and did not have internet service which was not restored until Sunday. The refrigerator was in bad shape with a broken shelf and we could not get the freezer to stop freezing closed, so no freezer the whole weekend. The dryer also had a broken door, but it still worked once you jimmied the door closed. Cleaning and kitchen supplies were pretty sparse, so be sure to take your own. The management company was super responsive and did the best they could to try and resolve the issues.

Summary: This house is big,lots of beds,lots of room,big pool. But when you pay as much money as we did you expect everything to be in tip top shape! And I don't feel I should have to spend my vacation time calling and reporting everything. Things should be monitored and kept up at all times by the cleaning staff or maintenance people. Upon arrival we noticed the wifi was not working, and I know that shouldn't really matter when you are at the beach but when you have teenagers and kids they want their internet! I called about a hour after arriving to report it out and a very nice and understanding maintenance man came by the next day, but was not able to fix it. Said the internet people do not come out on weekends. Okay, so I expected someone might come out Monday. Nope. Tuesday. Nope. Wednesday. Nope. After 6 days we had to depart and never once heard from anyone again regarding the internet. The refrigerator needs some attention because it does not cool very good, and neither does the freezer. And the ice maker never made ice. I did not call and report this because after the internet not getting fixed I figured what was the point, we just made do with it.(and we did not overload the fridge with a bunch of things) The washing machine is a front loading and smells pretty musty/moldy and had mold around the edge by the door. The garage is very musty smelling as well. This was our 3rd summer in Port Aransas and our 3rd time renting from Silver Sands. We love the houses with private pools and golf carts ready to go. Over all this house is pretty great, except the couple things I mentioned which could easily be fixed, and like I said I feel like the cleaning crew should of noticed these things and reported on them so customers don't have to spend their time making calls and dealing with it all. Maybe keep temperature readers in the fridges and freezers and make cleaning crew report each time they clean. Maybe make the cleaning crew always connect to wifi while they are there to make sure it's working. I know the cleaning crew uses the washing machines and should of noticed the smell/mold. Simple things that only take seconds and might make a big difference! We will be back, and we will rent from SS again.

Summary: The house was clean and ready for us to start our beach vacation. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because pool was not clean or swimmable the first night we were there. Also the lower level central air conditioner was not working and all of the lower level was kept cool with a small window air conditioner in the game room, so bedroom door always had to stay open to get cool air. We'll be staying here again in August so hopefully it's fixed by then.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay very much. My only recommendations are that we weren't left with any trash bags. For such a large rental, I would expect at least 2 extra liners besides the one in the can when we arrived. There were no kitchen towels, and there was only 1 towel in the master bathroom. We made due, but was inconvenient. Also, the listing was a bit misleading. This is actually 2 separate units with no way to get from one another from the inside. So just be aware, if you are planning on having children sleep in the game room, they will have to go outside to get into the main house. This wasn't an issue for us because our party was all adults, but I would have been very unhappy if I had bought children.
