Positive: Very kind host, very clean house, very good location, only not much chair in the salon but it s ok for two people. Very good restaurant close to house, nice view, nice and safe building. Super location.

Positive: Location was good, very central in Gouda and close to everything you need. Host was helpful when it came to check in, as we had a delay at the airport. Apartment was modern and kitchen well equipped for cooking.

Negative: The apartment I booked wasn't the one we were given on check in, the host never told us why we were given a smaller apartment instead. It got extremely warm 35 degrees outside and hotter inside, but there was no fan and the windows didn't open very wide - so it was very uncomfortable for a few nights. It would be better staying here in the winter, as there is heating.

Positive: Arriving after a 40 hour flight we were made to feel very welcome and so appreciated the comfort and warmth of the welcome and the apartment. Joop is an excellent host and ensured we had everything we needed. We appreciated the comfort and facilities even more when we became ill in the subsequent days and had to regain our strength and recover in the apartment for a number of days. We were in the ground floor corner apartment and even though we were not feeling great the fact we were could see passers-by and the street activities helped greatly in getting us back on our feet. We could venture out easily for short walks and found shops within a few minutes walk and especially appreciated the excellent Bio-winkel (shop) around the corner where we could buy quality organic supplies. Once we felt strong again we very much enjoyed walking around the lovely streets of Gouda and even the cold weather did not diminish our enjoyment. So many Cafe's and restaurants to choose from and on New Years eve we could watch the wonderful fireworks from the apartment in comfort. The apartment is very comfortable and situated in a beautifully restored parish house. It has all the comforts of home especially the well equiped kitchen and the huge king size wonderful bed. Truly there is no better place to stay in Gouda. You will not be disappointed, do yourself a favour!

Positive: I had a great experience staying at the flat in Gouda. It was very comfortable, clean, and conveniently located in the centre of town, near the main square. It is located within a short walk from the train station. Joop and the other staff members were always very friendly and willing to help with anything. I would highly recommend this place for both short and long stays, whether for work or holidays.
