Summary: Stayed 2 nights. Nice place. Beautiful view overlooking the pasture with the cows. Didnt realize that we were in the homeplace property, but that wasnt an issue. I could see us staying again.

Summary: We were very impressed with our stay at the shouse during Red Power Round Up. Every detail was thought of and taken care of. Our favorite part was being able to spend time helping to feed the baby calves. The property was very clean and nice with so many included amenities. We would highly recommend this property to our family and friends.

Summary: We had such a nice time staying here! The accommodations were great, everything was so clean, and we had everything we needed for an amazing girls weekend! The only criticism I would give was on our second night, a man let himself into the Vrbo which we thought was a little odd. Such a comfortable place to spend the weekend, would definitely recommend to others/come again!

Summary: The property was stocked very well with amenities! The built in fireplace was really cool and the hot tub was amazing!! The views of the countryside and the animals was relaxing and entertaining. We will definitely find a reason to come stay again!!

Summary: We had an amazing time relaxing, hanging out in the hot tub, petting the animals and taking walks around the property. The shouse was very clean and awesome but we didn’t want to turn on the fan in the master bedroom due to so much dust.

Summary: My husband and I wanted a quick weekend getaway. The Highland Hideout was exactly what we needed. Hot tub with amazing country views. “Funny farm” animals that were beyond cute to watch. Brand new amenities that enabled us to truly relax like we were at home. The Hideout is close to town so you can run in quick if you forgot something and is a short 20-40 minute drive away from all of the popular tourist sites near Spencer/Okoboji. Thanks Billie Jo & Thad, we can’t wait to come back!
