Fabulous Silver Star Mountain Location 2 Bed, 2 Bath, perfect for your Silver Star get-a-way. Master bedroom has queen size bed and ensuite and guest room also has single over double bunk bed, and the living room has a sleeper single chair.
NOTE: THE HOT TUB IS CLOSED FROM MAY - NOV 2024.
Large spacious kitchen fully equipped with, coffee maker, & dishwasher. You also have a large covered balcony with a propane BBQ. Kitchen table seats 6. You will love the area and being able to ski right to the village of the lift from outside the lobby!
Pet Friendly, Close To Lift And XC Trails
This beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit in highly sought after Grandview complex sleeps up to 6.
Master bedroom has a queen bed, with an ensuite bathroom, while the second bedroom has a single over double bunkbed and there is another sleeper chair in the living room. Fully stocked kitchen, comfy living room, gas fire place, wifi and cable TV and Netflix. Store your skis/boards in the downstairs locker, or bring them into the unit, which has a spacious entry with room for your gear.
Don't feel like walking to the lift? No problem - just put on your skis at the front door and slide on down to the ski-way, just a few meters away.
For the summer, we offer in-unit storage for two bikes in the unit's entry, and easy access to the cross-country trails (e.g. BX creek). The lift-accessed downhill trails are just a short pedal away.
We make it easy to check in and out with a self check in smart lock. Once you book, you will get the code and can check your self in any time of the day.
I live on Silver Star all year long so if you need me I am a call or text away.

Ski/Board Out is a 2 minute walk to a downhill run from the property. Ski/Board In is a 2 minute walk to the property.

Located in Grandview building on the knoll with excellent ski access. Snowy mountain views from the balcony. Enjoy the best location with cross-country trails, downhill runs, snowshoeing and dog walking trails right at the doorstep. Only 5 minutes walk to the village, bowling alley, Tube town and the outdoor skating rink. Ideal for families.
Kal Lake is a 30 minute drive/taxi from the property. The coarse sand beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. There is a public boat launch ramp.
Within 30 minutes drive there are beaches, golf courses, and wineries.
In the winter there is a shuttle that will drop you off to the building that runs from the village every 15 minutes. The village is also an easy 5 minute walk.
Special feature: Our unit has a keyless entry (you will be provided the access code prior to arrival). This makes it convenient for you to arrive at any time after check in time - so if you want to check in late or come a day early arriving late at night - you could just make first tracks in the morning.

Summary: Ski out was awesome especially if you love veering off the cat track into 2 feet of powder through the trees all the way to the top of cloud 9. Ski in was ok, just have to take the silver queen up and walk approx 2 min to condo. (Or just take the shuttle from the village that does a loop every half hour). We loved the layout of the condo as it was perfect for our family of 4. We found it quite spacious for a 2 bed/2 bath. (15 and 12 yr olds). Building was super quiet. Hot tubs were very convenient to get to. We like a firm bed, so it was perfect for us. We’ve stayed at a brand new build on Cathedral, an older home on monashee, and a condo at the bottom of the silver queen. Overall, this condo suited our family the best. We would definitely book this one again if it’s available!

Summary: This condo was great. It was roomy and comfortable. Well stocked. Beds were good. I would definitely stay here again. Some of my experiences with VRBO have not been great but this condo has restored my confidence in using the site again.

Summary: Property is well located near the top of the Silver Queen chair, with the village a 16 min walk along the road, or via regular shuttle bus. Ski in Ski out with very short walk coming in. Common area is large, comfortable with dining table for 6, we had 4. Sofa, TV, side chair, window view of distant mountains. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment, good appliances. Easy to work in. Parking is outside in large lot. Condo is on same level and near the two hot tubs, but not close enough for any noise. Easy stroll access. Ski room has lockers, etc. Nice. Most units are owner occupied as opposed to short term rentals. Friendly people. We were very comfortable here. Owner was very responsive to a couple small issues we had. Quickly taken care of in highly satisfactory way.

Summary: 2 couples and a dog stayed for 5 nights. Would have given 4.5 if that were any option. The space worked well for us., Great kitchen, well equipped, made cooking easy every night. Dining/living area had plenty of space for eating and hanging out in comfort. Great views to east and south. Bedrooms quiet, but beds not as comfortable as we would have liked - the mattresses sagged a bit towards center and having a smallish bunk bed in on bedroom was a bit challenging in terms of getting in and out. Place was spotless and in great shape, although a bit of fragrance from cleaning supplies. Hot tub was fantastic - used every day. Host was vey helpful and great communicator. Good alpine ski in/out but not as easy for Nordic - we ended up doing short drive to village or to Sovereign Lakes.
