Positive: The cleanness, the views , the balcony , the private terrace are amazing . The rooms , bathroom , kitchen , all are in great condition and so clean . The owner is so friendly and kind . Wendy the agent is so professional . It is so quiet . Spacious , charming lake and mountains views . The morning is gorgeous. The night is so quiet , the beds are so comfortable with everything clean and tidy . Kitchen is well equipped , everything is there , coffee machine , oven , microwave , dishes , everything . Donโ€™t miss this house in your next trip .
Negative: Definitely you need a car , then hold your luggage and move up along a very steep road to reach the apartment , then ladders , then the house , still the owner offered his help in luggage though , super kind . No lefts . Not good for elders or wheel chairs . The fridge is not cold . Otherwise , it worth that . I highly recommend though

Positive: Location and the views from the apartments are stunning. Apartments very clean. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, speak English well. As we came by car they were very kind to organize the carpark and also we came very late so its was also nice that they meet us at 1.30 PM.
Negative: The single bed bedrooms could be improved in order to be more in line with general feeling of the apartment. Currently they have some DIY beds that feel out of place. The layout and design of the kitchen are also a bit strange , but as we say "taste has no friends". Also I would replace these cold temperatures light to warm lights to make apartment more cozy. And the door handles need some oil as they are a bit noisy.
Summary: With some little tweaks to the interior design it could become a perfect place to stay!

Positive: It was a very nice flat with beautiful views and it's 10-15 mins walk (up/down slopes) to the bus stop and ferry stop Urio. The hosts were very helpful and provided us with a lot of information as well like when we had difficulties finding a cab back to the station as it was during a busy period for Lake Como, they went beyond to try and arrange transport for us. They were also very prompt with their responses
Negative: There aren't roads that can stop right outside the apartment and it's located on an upslope so it's quite challenging to get to if you have a lot of luggage or are less mobile

Positive: The view was amazing and the hosts helpful with any questions we had.
Negative: The walk was steep but manageable. However we had lots of bags and that was alittle difficult to pack car on our departure walking down. Wifi had a few problems with dropouts but it wasnโ€™t a deal breaker. Great host and location.
Summary: Lovely spot to enjoy the views of Lake Como.

Positive: Simply everything. If i could rate 11 - I would. The location is a dream, the appartment is excellent, the hosts are the best i have met for a long time. We had the chance to meet the owners of the place, who themselfes are super friendly and helpfull. The garden is very well taken care off with beautifull flowers, lighting for the evening and even a turtoise walking around. The pictures on booking.com do not do justice to Simo house - the view is even better than in the pictures and is absolutely lovely if you want to relax in the evening outside. Would recomend it to everyone!
