Positive: The room was exactly as shown in the photos. It was clean, comfortable, secure and private. The location was good - shops and cafes are within a close walking distance. The staff were amazing. They were all very friendly and helpful with recommendations of local food/laundry/tours. There is also a cat named Sapi (he loves tuna in case you want to buy him some). This accommodation was great value for money. I would stay here again, and would definitely recommend.

Summary: Clean, comfortable, secure and private - Great value for money.

Positive: Major benefit of the place is the staff, everyone was so helpful they booked a tour to Ijen and helped us book train tickets. Decent room, pictures are accurate, but you need to have one away from the entrance. They let us hang around after checkout until we caught our train.

Negative: Unfortunately we stayed in room A ( I’m sure the others are better). It is the room nearest the road and the kitchen, where people smoke and the fumes drift into the room and you can hear people’s conversation. TV remote for internet failed to work even after being changed. Towels didn’t smell great.

Positive: Beautiful rooms with the comfiest bed we’ve had in the last 4 months in SE Asia. The staff were so so lovely and helpful with giving us recommendations, and their English is excellent. They even made iced tea for us on arrival. There is a kitchen area with free water, tea and coffee too. Would 100% recommend staying here 😊

Negative: Nothing at all! It was perfect.

Positive: Such a comfortable bed! really friendly staff, always around to help or have a chat. Great location for a few restaurants & also easy to be picked up for mt ijen tours. Hot water shower. Really lovely, spacious room. Great price. It was nice to have a shared kitchen too! Would definitely stay again.

Negative: It is in a quiet area which is great but you will likely wake up because of nearby call to prayer around 4am each day
