Summary: We were very impressed with the condition of the place. Plenty of room for a small group of 8 to gather for a team-building weekend. The kitchen is spacious, with plenty of counters and very well stocked with everything you need to prepare gourmet quality meals. It is in a quiet neighborhood and reasonably close to the slopes. The place was perfect for us.

Summary: We were very impressed with the property. The pictures from home away don't do it enough justice. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the peace and scenic views from inside the home. We loved that we had our own private area outside; the kids played in the snow for hours. We spent a lot of time cooking during our stay and the accommodations were above expectation. The family has already asked about the next trip at this property!

Summary: This review is long overdue and I am one that usually never writes reviews but I wanted to share my wonderful experience. Upon our arrival to the home Walt and Terri had a lovely gift basket for us. They were in contact with us prior to our arrival and was readily available for questions or concerns. The pictures definitely does not do this house justice. It was an incredibly lovely home furnished with absolutely everything and anything you could think of and all available for your use during your stay. We were also able to use their smoker to grill steaks. The patio and yard was huge. The kids loved sledding outside and being able to run in for hot chocolate afterwards. The scenery through the windows was very serene and relaxing. After a 5 day stay the kids still did not want to leave what the called "our house". I can imagine during the spring and summer the kids can property bike, hike and go to the lake, while the winters they spent in the backyard sledding, ice skating and movies at heavenly village. This is a wonderful place to make wonderful childhood memories for the kids. We're considering making this an annual destination at least once or twice a year and if the snow continues to be as good as its been maybe more if Walt and Terri would have us. Thanks again Walt and Terri for the wonderful experience with our first VRBO rental.

Summary: This charming house has everything. Near fantastic hiking trials, the beach or casinos something for everyone. It is very private with a wonderful large deck looking out into the forest. The house itself has a great layout with and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Yes there is more the place is pet friendly and the owners are extremely helpful and thoughtful.

Summary: Very well appointed and clean home - great location . Owners are always available for any questions. BTW Thanks for the snacks and treats too. Dogs loved their blankets provided by the owners. Would definitely stay again and have recommended this home to friends and family.

Summary: The home is beautiful, modern, spacious, great beds and linens, and overall super clean. The kitchen is large and stocked well. The great room and kitchen were perfect for our large group. After our hiking trips in the area we would all relax on the large deck in the evenings. I especially loved having my morning coffee on the deck. Two of the rooms have large HDTVs where the kids could play their games and watch the Netflix children’s shows that was included in the rental. Really enjoyed bringing my Lab along for the trip. It was great to hike her everyday on the Rim Trail. The owners were always available via text/email/phone for any questions and any additional needs. We look forward to staying again soon.

Summary: "This house is super-clean and the beds are comfy. Most cabins have cheap towels, etc. but this is like someone's fancy home. They gave us a gift basket of coffee mug, wine, chocolate and cookies. The kids ate it up. The back yard is a forest. This is good for families to enjoy quiet and nature. My wife liked the well-stocked kitchen and I liked sports on the big TV and unwinding on the deck. You can hike right off the deck for miles. I used their smoker to make ribs. We took our Labradoodle for hikes on the Tahoe Rim Trail close by. I have already recommended this home to our family and friends.We hope to be back soon.

Summary: Their 4 bedroom home was perfect for our 11 person + 1 dog, family vacation. The house is immaculate but yet very comfortable. The best part is the well-equipped kitchen. Day hiking in the mountains (but if you prefer the concrete/asphault that's just outside the front door), and access to beaches are not far by car. Walt and Terri are very easy to work with and give very concise instructions for the home during your stay. We've rented other homes using VRBO, but Walt and Terri's exceeded the others by far. We look forward to renting from them again next summer. The only downside to this vacation was that we only booked it for one week...2 weeks is a must!! Trust me, it's worth it! :-)
