Summary: Our family spent a really great vacation in this 3 level home. It had everything we needed, and felt warm and cozy after full days of adventure in Tahoe. We snowboarded two days at Heavenly which took only 3 minutes to drive to the parking lot. Super convenient! WiFi and TV worked well. Our dogs loved being out on the front large balcony, the back hillside wasn’t fenced, but a great place to explore. Kitchen was easy to use and had plenty of places to stock our food. There was only very basic salt/pepper, so make sure to BYO condiments/spices. Very easy check in and out. Wonderful stay, our whole family wanted to come back again!

Summary: This charming chalet served us well for skiing in early April and exploring Lake Tahoe trails, waterfalls, and vistas. By chance we spotted a mother black bear and cub up the hill behind the house while having dinner on our first night. We never saw them again, despite the neighbors telling us the bears come through every morning in one direction and in the evening in the other direction, the chalet a main attraction because guests don't properly close the bear safe trash receptacle. These same neighbors were expressing dismay about litter behind the chalets, carrying a litter spear on their evening walk to pick up after transients. After stopping to pick up some large pieces of styrofoam below our chalet deck, the wife''s mood improved when she found a big mud bear print on one piece. Cool find, but the litter is not cool. Please be responsible guests, everyone! We also saw a coyote at night (it set off the motion detector light cutting through next to the chalet) and another prowling in the middle of the day behind the chalet. Be vigilant if you have a small pet. We loved our first visit to Lake Tahoe and would happily stay here again if lucky enough to return.

Summary: The chalet is located in a beautiful area with huge trees in back and a huge balcony out front. Close to shopping and eating areas. It has everything you could need in the kitchen and we loved using the big new gas grill. Beds were super comfortable. Overall we had a wonderful stay.
