Cabin will give you the privacy you seek with all the amenities and close to the action. Plenty of parking to accommodate snowmobile trailers. Close to VAST trail system, rideable from the cabin, cross country ski trails and snow showing trails are literally from the doorstop. Less than 10 minutes to downhill skiing at Okemo! Cabin outfitted with broadband wireless access, flatscreen television, newly renovated and fully equipped kitchen, oversized stall shower, new carpeting, propane heater and large screened porch. Relax and enjoy all the fun that winter has to offer without all the noise and headache of a crowded ski resort area.
We also offer a shopping service to stock your cabin prior to arrival for an additional fee.
Snowmobile and cross country ski trails are groomed and ready for use right from the cabin's front door. During the summer months, the cabin has a large cleared mowed yard for playing outdoor games.
Hiking right from your doorstep: We are located next to the Green Mountain National Forest. The Long Trail crosses the road about 2 miles from your doorstep. Great hiking at White Rocks Recreation Center.
Shopper's Service: We offer a fully equipped kitchen and we are even happy to do all your shopping for you so all you have to do is show up, ready for a fun and relaxing stay! For an additional fee we can provide groceries for either snacks and breakfast upon arrival or grocery shopping for the duration of your stay.
Golfing and Hiking : White Rocks Recreation Area is down the road and the Long Trail crosses the road by the cabin. Excellent hiking for the experienced or the novice.

Summary: My family stayed here for a ski trip to Okemo Mountain. It was a great location (10-15 min drive) and a wonderful Vermont cabin experience. The owners live close by and welcomed us on the first day of our arrival. Clean, cute, and cozy!

Summary: The cabin was perfect for our needs - warm and cozy, with easy access to Okemo, but secluded enough that you really felt like you were away from it all. On a beautiful large property with woods and cross-country skiing/snowshoeing trails out back.... and of course a wonderful Vermont night sky. House was neat, clean and had everything you'd need for a weekend stay. We could not be more pleased with the cabin and would definitely consider coming back.

Summary: Hi, we stayed here for 3 nights over Prez Day weekend while skiing at Okemo and it's exactly what we needed. So much less expensive than staying in Ludlow and just a breezy 20 min drive to the mountain. The hosts and the house are delightful. Tammy and her husband came by to welcome us, recommend dining options and answer questions. While not luxurious, the house is also very user friendly, comfortable and clean with all needed amenities. Plus, it's on a quiet VT country road that gets you away from all the noise of town. Would absolutely stay there again!

Summary: The overall best summary that can be made to begin is that the property, like our Host, was very welcoming and very accommodating. From our initial email communication with Tammy, to a personal visit from Tom, the whole experience was smooth and stress free. Tammy was excellent in her response times with email questions and was always friendly and helpful. Shortly after we got settled into the cabin, Tom checked in to meet us and to make sure all was well. He had cut and stacked some firewood for us, which was GREATLY appreciated, and pointed-out a couple of places we could light a campfire... over which we cooked some boneless chicken breasts --- Y U M M Y..! Everything we might have possibly needed was readily available and more than adequate to meet the need. From all the dishes, silverware, glasses and goblets, and even a nice set of bbq tools, we found everything to be of top-notch quality and a pleasure to use. More than enough room for four adults to relax, spend alone or together time, and end the day with a long night of star gazing and a little camp fire followed by a quiet, comfortable, and absolutely restful sleep, this cabin gets 9 out of 10 creature-comforts from us. The cons of this home away from home are so not worth mentioning that I'm not even going to mention them! We loved our stay, and would highly recommend to all looking for a quiet and comfortable weekend in the woods.

Summary: What a wonderful winter escape destination! I went for a long weekend with my boyfriend and another couple and we had a wonderful time! When we arrived we were welcomed by a tasty vermont-themed snack basket, and we immediately felt at home. The cabin is extremely cozy, which is exactly what we wanted! The slopes are easily accessible from the house, as are restaurants, bars, grocery stores etc, but a car is a must. We cooked dinner every night in the well stocked kitchen, and were entertained by the dvd selection available at the house. We can't wait to come back in the summer so we can take advantage of some of the nearby summer activities including kayaking, hiking etc. I just wish we had more time at the cabin as there's so much to do around the property including snowmobiling, cross country skis etc. My only word of caution is about the bedrooms. The house is perfect for small families, a group of friends, or couples (who are comfortable with each other, since the rooms do not have doors to allow the heat to spread throughout the house). I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a cozy cabin weekend - we had the perfect weekend!

Summary: My boyfriend and I rented the house with another couple and were extremely pleased with our experience. I have rented many places on Home Away and this was the best experience I have had to date. We were welcomed with a basket full of amazing local snacks.The house was clean and cozy, the couches and beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with supplies, and there was tons of land to run around and look out on. Also, the DVD collection kept us entertained each night. We couldn't wait to get back to the house after skiing. I highly recommend this house for families, couples and friends. Only thing is there no doors on the bedrooms upstairs in order to keep the heat circulating--just a blanket to cover the master door. It didn't bother us at all but might for those looking for serious privacy. I can't wait to go back to the house this summer!
