Location, Location, Location! You cant beat it! Sitting high on top of the amazing North Creek Mosaic Project! The PERFECT Apres' Ski destination. Right in the heart of the greatly improved village of North Creek. This quaint Victorian cottage is just steps away from the ever popular Cafe' Sarah on Main Street, as well as the Bar Vino Wine Bar, restaurants and shopping, all are just a very short walk from our home (Save on GAS). Enjoy unwinding here after a long day on the slopes, whether it's a long soak in the jetted tub, a soothing massage on the upstairs massage table or just overlooking the village from your perch on the wrap around porch! Come here to RELAX!
Other close by attractions: In addition to downhill skiing, cross country trails are close by, or a short drive to many miles of trails at Garnet Lake. The village is also home to the Ride the Rails Excursion, many white water rafting companies, hiking trails, kayaking and the Barton Garnet Mines. Don't miss the train museum at the depot!
The House: This Queen Ann Cottage features three bedrooms, one has two full size beds and a smart TV, one has a queen size bed, and a smart TV, and the other has a bunk beds, and a full sized bed. All are on the second floor. There are also two full baths, one of which has a whirlpool tub. There is a fully equipped kitchen that is open to the dinning room, a living room with cable and smart TV. There is also a laundry/mud room for all your gear, and a beautiful wrap around porch with chairs to enjoy the view of Main Street and the mountains. If you like architecture, this house has plenty of details to enjoy, from the quarter sawn oak staircase with oak paneled walls, to the stained glass windows or the beautiful inlaid parquet floors and the antique coal burning fireplace (please burn artificial logs only).

Summary: Very nostalgic place nestled in the heart of old town Americana North Creek...this was a ski weekend for us and it was an easy 10 minute drive to Gore and we loved being able to walk to restaurants and shopping in North Creek...also loved the character of the house

Summary: This property was wonderful. So close to Gore Mountain. Right in town. Just steps from the grocery store and restaurants and bars. The house was comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed our stay.

Summary: The house was incredible with fabulous woodworking throughout. Grounds were cluttered with 'stuff' that should have been totally cleaned up before we arrived. If we were one week renters, I might have not cared, but we were two month renters and had to live with the mess. Some work needs to be done to make one feel more safe in and outside the home. As for the town, there is not much to see or do. Restaurants are only open 4 days a week and only a couple stay open for dinner. On the other hand, it was convenient to have a grocery store within walking distance. All in all, it was a disappointment from what we expected.

Summary: The house was the perfect location for our snow skiing vacation. We felt right at home in the two story house. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and the grocery store. An added plus was the beautiful mosaic wall in front of the house. I enjoyed talking to the artist in her nearby art gallery.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay at this house. It's in a convenient location, walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, and town. Quick drive to Gore for a couple days of skiing. The house was comfortable for the 5 of us (2 adults, 3 teens). Rich was easy to communicate with. Would recommend and stay again.

Summary: We had a wonderful time! Close to Gore. Walk to grocery store. Close to restaurants. The kitchen was complete. Loved the crock pot! We were very comfortable. The temperatures were down to the negative numbers and we were toasty warm. Rich was very responsive. As others said, there was too much stuff all over the house. The Mosiac Project wall is beautiful!!
