Snuggle up by a warm fire. Canoe or swim in our 25 acre non-motor boat pristine lake! Listen to bull frogs under a night sky. Watch and listen to the geese fly overhead. Go for a hike. Watch the garden grow, the fruit trees and berry bushes blossom. There are plenty of things to do nearby: antiquing, book shops, art galleries, bowling & billiards, golf courses, horse back riding, local restaurants and cafes. The house comes fully equipped with all your basic necessities plus high speed internet, Roku TV, Hulu Live, VHS/DVD player and a diverse movie & book collection. Fresh towels and linens provided. Kitchen has electric stove, refrigerator, juicer, food processor, coffee maker, pots and pans. Outside seating with gas and charcoal grills, fire pit by the lake, use of canoe, kayaks, paddle boat, fishing, swimming, 15 ft trampoline, hammocks, wavy slide, sandbox, swings in the trees, and a tree house for the kids! The cottage is located 3 hours from NYC in the northern Catskill region. About 2 miles down the road is the the Delaware River, perfect for kayaking and trout fishing! Also, be sure to bike, hike or take a country stroll down the 26 mile Catskill Scenic Trail and visit the nearby village of Hobart, a.k.a, 'the book village of the Catskills'. Summary: Loved the stay at this cute little lake house. It had evetee needed. Kayaks, rowboat, trampoline, fishing pole, fire pit, tree house, etc… we absolutely loved it. Kirsten was a tremendous host, great communicator. Comfortable house, teenagers loved the loft. Beautiful, serene lake just steps from their house. We would def come back, maybe make it an annual summer stay. We were very lucky to find this place

Summary: We stayed at the property for two nights and were able to bring our dog. We loved the location by the lake and used the boats to go on the water. The kids very also very excited about the loft and the many things in the backyard, such as trampoline, tree house, swings etc. The weather was not the best but the house was equipped with games, TVs and movies for entertainment.

Summary: We went up with my family to enjoy a couple of days of peace and relaxation- wow, we were rewarded with this wonderful, tranquil cabin house that easily accomodated 5 adults. Spent days fishing, boating, reading, relaxing. Words will not do justice to this place. Owner was an excellent communicator, and left us alone to enjoy ourselves. Will definitely be back.

Summary: Fun property to spread out on. Lots of things to do games, kayaks, lounge chairs. Brand new grill. There was quite a bit of personal stuff in the house. It was organized but there.

Summary: Kristen's lake home is absolutely beautiful. Very eccentric yet still has that cabin-like feel. My husband and I spent the entire time sitting by the lake and reading. I swam with our dog and the water was SO warm and relaxing! Kristen was very informative and quick to respond. We'd definitely come back again!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at Kirsten’s place. While we didn’t have kids we were able to be kids ourselves. Great location where you are tucked away but still close enough to visit surrounding towns. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends.
