Positive: The review for this hotel is going to be really weird. we really enjoyed our stay, the beds are comfortable, the room was large and there was plenty of room for us to dump all our stuff. the dinners in the evening were exceptional. some of the best food we'd had on our entire vacation. and the service for the food was brilliant. also, the position was really good get to the main roads, but the town of South courtright itself is really not a town at all. so if all you're looking for is a fantastic sleep then this is the hotel for you.
Negative: this is the second part of the review and this is slightly weirder. there are no staff on site and you are given numbers to get into your rooms. there are staff in the evenings when they open for dinner, but if you arrive during the day there'd be no one there to greet you. we had an issue with the heating when we first arrived, and luckily we arrived when the dining part was open so there was somebody to help us. it was just such a weird experience to be in a hotel with no staff. in addition, they play music in the bar, and our room was on the floor above the bar, and from the moment we arrived on day one until I fell asleep, there was a thump of music through the floor. I did mention it to someone and they said only played music when the dining room was open. still it wasn't exactly the most peaceful of rooms. on booking.com it said breakfast was included and that was a major exaggeration. Given the hotel has a dining room, it was easy to imagine that breakfast would be down there. In fact, breakfast is in a small room and consists of yogurts, some cereal and some plastic wrapped pastries. plus coffee of course. this is NOT breakfast, particularly as I'm travelling with my type 1 diabetic husband who is low carb. I think this needs to be clearer in the booking.com listing. The cost for the room was way too much for what we actually had.

Positive: Breakfast was as advertised. The evening meals in the dining room were fantastic. I had the best prime rib at The Hidden Inn, and the best beef filet Iv’e ever had.

Positive: Love everything about this property!! Love the rooms, love the employees, and the owners treated us wonderfully!! My son goes to school locally and I will always check here first to see if there is availability!

Positive: It’s a nice building, the rooms and bathrooms are comfortable. The access was easy with a password. The restaurant and bar are very nice. Not open all days.
Negative: First, there weren’t towels in my room. Fortunately my colleague borrowed me one. They were supplied later when I texted the owner. Second, they have a nice Nesspresso like machine with good coffee, there was milk, cream cheese but no bread or bagels. There were a couple of apples but bruised.
