1 Bedroom Cottage in Ullared

Slamrekullen located inside the forest, 9 km from Ullared. 'Outbuildings' as we call it, is newly built. Half the house is furnished as an apartment of 60 square meters with loft (double bed 180 cm). On the downstairs there is a dining table with four chairs and a sofa with a chaise longue. (Downstairs there is room for an extra bed). On the backside of the house, is a lawn and paved terrace with garden furniture, totally secluded and overlooking the forest. The kitchen is equipped with a convection oven, microwave, stove, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, and the most that should be found in a kitchen. The kitchen area is also a wood-burning stove. Very cozy to light dark and rainy evenings. In the large bathroom beside the shower, is also a washing machine. We have TV (Viasat Gold) and wifi (fiber). Towels, bed linen, wood and final cleaning is included in the price. (No extra charges).
The surrounding area has nice walking trails and our small lake "Trollasjön". There we have a small boat. (From May - September). A little further away (4 km) are our closest bathing lake "Hjärtaredssjön" with fine beaches. "Hjärtaredssjön" is also a fine fishing lake. (There are boats for rent).
For those of you who like snow and skiing, there are many long ski tracks in Åkulla (10 km from us). There is also a ski slope in Ullared (10 km from us). When there are minus degrees, snow is produced from snow cannons.

Summary: At first I was skeptical because there are only positive reviews here. But after arrival and during the vacation it became clear why. I or we can only agree with all of the previous positive reviews. We spent 2 lovely weeks in Slamrekullen. The house has everything you need and is very comfortable and furnished with great attention to detail. Everything was clean. The kitchen is very well equipped, there are enough towels in the bathroom and the bed is very comfortable. If you haven't planned any activities yet, there is a nice collection of tips for nearby excursions. Slamrekullen is located in a nice, quiet area in the countryside, but you can also quickly get to the coast and the town (e.g.) Varberg. We didn't have that much personal contact with the hosts Lotta and Ronny, but we found the contact we did have was very nice, warm and courteous. We really enjoyed our vacation and would love to come back someday.

Summary: No problems finding the place. Good shopping opportunities. Beautiful surroundings with lots of possible walks in the nature. Beautiful lakes. The cottage was equipped with everything you need and the hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Summary: We spend 13 days at Slamrekullen with our little family (daughter 1 year old). The house is furnished with everything you need. Lotta and Ronny are incredibly friendly and carring, but leave you in peace (if you want) at the same time. You could not ask for better hosts! The surrounding of Slamrekullen is unspectacoular but nice and nature at its best. We recommend going there without any reserve. Malte from Germany

Summary: We were at Slamrekullen for 4 nights. The house is really nice and cozy. The owner has paid a lot of attention to it. The house is a little remote in a very nice quite surrounding. Great for adventures walking’s and for enjoying real Swedish nature. The house is new and well equipped, with a nice woodstove in the kitchen. We loved the beds. During the days we visited nice places like, Varberg, Falkenberg, Goteborg and the Tjolöholms Slott at Fjärås, all in reasonable distance. The four days were too short for us; we could easily do a full week. Our hosts Lotta and Ronny had a warm welcome for us.

Summary: This sweet cottage is very lovely furnished. You'll find everything you need in the well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom is large and very modern. You can reach the bedroom from the stairs. There is a lot of space for jackets and shoes in the hall. The cottage was totally clean as we arrived and as already mentioned, lovely furnished. So you can feel homelike right from the start of you stay. Lotta & Ronny are very helpful and friendly hosts. Before our journey we had a good communication via e-mail (inter alia a detailed description how to get to the cottage) so we didn't have any questions as we arrived. In the house you'll find a book where Lotta & Ronny explain all the important things you have to know about the house and the environment. There are tips for locations you have to visit in the surrounding area. We would recommend Varberg and Lottas favourite place to take a bath in the lake. We would definitely recommend this place and Lotta & Ronny as hosts!
