Negative: Our heat didn’t work for most of the night but eventually got fixed. More record selection would improve the experience too - and Kleenex. :)

Positive: The room was nicely decorated and furnished. The staff were attentive for the inn. It was very clean and comfortable, great location if you want to be in down town. Nice touch with the breakfast boards.
Negative: It is an old building on the main high street so a little noisy, but to be expected. The plumbing was quite noisy. The food is great pub good, but I wouldn't describe it as a fine dining gastro pub, just perfectly tasty decent food, could have been a few more selections that weren't burgers. Cocktails were not the best, overly sweet and lacking in skill and imagination and took 40mins for our first drink to arrive and 30mins for desert.

Positive: The rooms are very unique, the staff are extremely nice, and the food is *THE BEST* in PEI, even over their sister restaurant.
Negative: The beds are soft but that's a personal preference.

Positive: The property was in an excellent location! Walking distance to the downtown core. We liked that it had a separate entrance for guests. The room had a beautiful balcony and very nice decor. We loved the the record player and the bed was very comfy.
Negative: It was a little noisy with an event below the room.

Positive: We loved our stay at Slaymaker. Every member of staff we met was friendly and courteous. Our room was exactly as shown on the website - beautifully decorated and comfortable - we loved having a turntable with vinyl records to choose from - a selection located outside our room. We enjoyed having drinks in the gorgeous bar downstairs and OMG! the breakfast delivered to the trolley outside our room was devine!
Negative: The pictures on the Booking.Com website - look like the inn is not facing a main road - we were not expecting this but as we did not eat outside, and our room was located to the side of the building, this was not a problem.
