Welcome to our home! We are offering a duplex unit. It’s the lower unit. It has 2 bedrooms, plus a living room, dining area, and kitchen. The bath has a walk in shower. Very comfy place, walking distance to strip mall and grocery. We’re close, easy access to the airport, Grand Rapids Downtown and outlet mall Tanger. Bike trail across the street.Also easy access to US-131 and M-6. Kitchen is equipped with all the essentials. Living room has a couch, smart TV, and a shelf with books.
Kitchen offers dishes, silverware, coffee maker, toaster, range, microwave, pans, cutting boards, coffee, tea, etc... Each bedroom has nightstand, lamp and closet, as well as pull down shade. Of course there's also WIFI. One note, you will have a private entrance.
We have a outdoor eating area, a playground, and a big yard for the kids to play.
There’s a hammock in the garage, feel free to use it.
The lower unit, you’ll have the lower space to yourself and will only share with those you are traveling with.

Summary: The only thing I would say is the beds were not that comfortable and the pillows were flat. Also no blow dryer. But they did provide ear plugs, blind fold, toothbrush,toothpaste and shampoo/conditioner.

Summary: Myself and my other coaches were in town for a tournament. This place was perfect. One of the coaches had her 5 yr old daughter with us. So, we had a 'men's' and 'women's' dorm. We could discuss the day and the following day's strategies. It was incredibly cost efficient! The place cost less than a hotel room for one of us. The space was relaxing (definitely appreciated after a long day) had all the enmities we could have wanted or needed, conveniently located (15 mins from our venue), plenty of kitchen space for meals/meal prep, and more. This facility was far better than hotel rooms could have offered us. Thank you! If we go to this tournament again, we WILL be back!

Summary: My partner and I stayed for a weekend wedding and this property was perfect. Not too far from downtown GR at all. We don’t have kids, but the property seemed to be very accommodating to families with young children and babies. Also, you can’t beat the price!

Summary: This was just the perfect place for us to use for a wedding and bring our dog. Very clean. The beds are very soft, a little too soft for us. The yard is big and our dog loved it. Close drive to everywhere we needed to be.

Summary: Property is clean, almost hotel like, except cleaner. The complimentary items (shampoo, lotion, tooth brushes, ear plugs, etc) laid out for guests are super appreciated. This place would be great for a family of 4 or 5 with a baby, since there was a crib available in the second room. The fenced in yard was very nice and peaceful. My only critique would be that the dining table chairs aren't great for long durations so there's not a great spot for playing board games. Not a big deal, since the table worked for that. Still loved the stay and will absolutely stay here again.

Summary: Pro’s 1. Check in process was super easy and wifi password was easy to find. 2. There are TONS of outlets. 3. Unit was extremely clean, appliances were modern and all worked well 4. Décor was very pleasant and homey 5. Living room couch is huge and comfy! My 6 foot tall nephew claimed the couch as his bed and we could have fit 2 of him one there, lol. 6. Tv’s have Roku set up. If you don’t have streaming subscriptions, there are some already logged in so you can still watch. 7. Back yard is huge and fenced with lots of seating. 8. Owner provided hotel style amenities in the bathroom to include shampoo, lotion, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste. 9. Linen closet has a hair dryer plus a basket with band aids, q tips, feminine products, antacids and extra ear plugs. 10. Extra blanket and pillow in each bedroom closet, along with a small box fan. 11. Laundry room has full size washer and dryer and an iron (but no ironing board). 12. Kitchen has modern fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker. 13. Owner is extremely responsive. We alerted him to a small issue we saw when we first checked in. He not only texted back right away, but came by personally to take care of it the next day. Con The only real con is that there is no way to escape the stomping neighbors upstairs. The owner was smart enough to negotiate “quiet hours” with them so that both units agree to low voices and lower volume on tv and music from 9pm-7am. The upstairs tenants did abide by this agreement. The only problem is that I feel like the agreement only benefits the upstairs and protects them from loud VRBO tenants downstairs since the upstairs noise isn't tv, but incessant footsteps that are amplified by the floor. Unfortunately a 10 yr old and a dog are both unaware of how heavy their steps are & the noise can be a bit much. That being said, This con is the ONLY reason I gave this property 4 stars instead of 5. Its also something I feel is out of the control of the owner. Moreover, this would not stop me from renting this unit the next time I am in town because I loved everything else so much. The owner has clearly remediated what he could, and on top of that, he has made sure the price is discounted to reflect this particular flaw.

Summary: We rented for a week. It was myself, husband and three kiddos. It was perfect for us. There was a coffee maker w/ some coffee. A couch that fit all of us on it for movie night. A washer and dryer because w/ three kids; if you know you know! Lol. It was very much appreciated. You can hear the upstairs neighbors but it luckily all the guests that were in and out upstairs were pretty considerate. They were all families just like us so I can understand kiddos running around because they are board. All in all it was a perfect spot; close to all our family and will definitely be looking for this rental again when we visit Michigan.
