Contact free stay! - Welcome to the Meije, one of the most beautiful places in the Netherlands, in the Groene Hart, 30 minutes by car from Amsterdam. Great for cycling and walking. Our comfortable two-storey guest suite in the annex building in the garden offers a living room, bedroom and private terrace.
The living room has a comfortable couch, TV, coffee maker, kettle, oven and fridge. The bathroom on the ground floor has a shower, toilet and sink.
In the bedroom on the first floor you can sleep in a comfortable bed of 1.80 m by 2.20 m. We offer tasty ingredients that you can use to make breakfast when it suits you best. Enjoy!
The comfortable suite with lots of privacy is located on one of the most beautiful walking, cycling and motorbike routes in the Netherlands with a wide view of the Meijepolders. Less than a kilometer away you will find a restaurant and the Meije hiking trail next to the Nieuwkoop lakes. Amsterdam, Schiphol, The Hague, Utrecht and Rotterdam are a 30-minute drive away. The Amsterdam RAI, Jaarbeurs Utrecht and the Keukenhof are also easily accessible.
We have 2 city bikes available (1 men and 1 ladies bike). A public bus from Woerden or Bodegraven station stops four times a day in De Meije at 1 km walking distance. Parking is possible on own ground. We have a covered motorbike parking.
We are a working couple, so we wake up early on weekdays. We love meeting new people and are happy to share all the information we can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If you arrive after 10 p.m open the guest suite with the key from the key safe (it is not necessary to knock).

Summary: Great stay and wonderful experience near Bodegraven. Hosts we’re kind and welcoming and quickly attended to our questions. Setting is ideal with great hiking and biking close by. Bodegraven has a train station making further travels quite easy. Apartment was 30 mins drive to Kuekenhof Gardens. Very quiet at night making sleeping a pleasure. Parking on site. Highly recommend, particularly for couples. Exceeded expectations

Summary: I had an idyllic weekend get-away. The guest-suite is perfectly appointed and the setting delicious. The route recommendations from Rose for my bike ride were spot-on. Left completely rejuvenated, with a jar of cherry jam to boot! Thank you!

Summary: Our stay at Rose&Pauls apartment was great. The checkin was easy, Rose showed us everything, the apartment was clean and very well equipped. The area is simply beautiful. Surrounded by fields, sheep and cows it's a perfect place to relax. Here you really can turn your back to the speed of life. Thanks!

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay at Paul and Rose’s cottage. The bikes were great, we were able to ride across the small lake to get ice cream one night, and the drive into the park-and-ride for Amsterdam was only about 35 minutes drive away. Rose thoughtfully checked in on us each day, and always asked if we needed more breakfast materials. She was a very gracious hostess. Highly recommend this property!

Summary: Such a welcoming couple who greeted us for our few days stay. We travelled on motorbikes and Paul and Rose couldn't have been more helpful. The studio was spacious and warm and a huge selection of items for breakfast were left for us. Location was perfect - out of town enough to enjoy the peaceful countryside (even though next to a farm) but close enough to pushbike or travel to visit somewhere. We would love to plan to return one day.
