Located in Maro, close to the famous Nerja Caves & just a short drive to Nerja & the beach. The villa has spacious accommodation comprising 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, guest washroom, open plan living & dining area with fully fitted kitchen. Quality finish in marble throughout. Villa Gito stands in private gardens & is located just around the corner from the famous Caves of Nerja, a series of caverns close to the town of Nerja in Andalusia. Stretching for almost 5 km the caverns are one of Spain´s major tourist attractions. Concerts are regularly held in one of the chambers which forms a natural amphitheatre. The beach at Maro is approx 1000m through the picturesque village, with it´s small shops, bars & restaurants.
Nerja is approx 3 km from maro, a coastal town at the foot of the Almijara mountains with a long tradition of fishing and agriculture. The fishermen still pull their nets ashore on Burriana beach and fresh produce can still be bought from the doorways of local people´s houses. The weekly market (Tuesdays) attracts many traders and shoppers from all over the region and the town centre has a vibrant, friendly atmosphere with many lovely shops, tapas bars & restaurants.

Summary: Nice villa. Well cleaned. Perfect with private swimming pool inside the property. Only one comments: two of the bedrooms are sharing air conditioner, so if both bedrooms should benefit from the air-con the door between the 2 rooms needs to be open. But over-all a nice villa with all you need for a perfect vacation. Thank you for this time. Lars

Summary: The property was ideal for our family visiting the Nerja area for a wedding. It sleeps 6 adults comfortably. The management team are excellent, getting back to us quickly on a couple of small issues. The pool is lovely and very well maintained. The furniture is dated but that can be seen in the photographs. The villa is next door to the caves and you can walk into Maro in a few minutes, which has 2 mini markets, a chemist and 2 bars. Nerja is an hours walk away. We hired a car which meant easier access to Nerja but a taxi costs about £8.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay , the Villa was very clean and spacious and well laid out with everything we needed there . It was located just outside Nerja which was nice to retreat to a slightly quieter location. Nerja was only a few minutes drive away to supermarket , shops and more beaches . We had a lovely sized pool which we used everyday and we would definitely think of booking villa again as we really enjoyed our stay . The only reason I gave 3 stars on service was that the pool cleaner didn't arrive so we had quite a few leaves on the bottom which we couldn't remove but couldn't fault the service with regards to our booking and correspondence with staff who were so helpful , friendly and professional on all occasions . Maybe the pool maintenance but it wasn't really an issue. We could have called to speak to someone if we felt it was a problem .

Summary: The pool and gardens are lovely. The villa itself is very spacious, plenty of room for 8 of us. Good communication from Ian, answered any questions we had. Scenic views, panoramic sea view from the top balcony. Close to the caves and bus service. Lovely little restaurant a couple of hundred yards away. It's hard to find many faults but maybe air con in all the bedrooms. A welcome pack would be good (information about the local amenities, services, buses etc.). The bed on the landing was uncomfortable, had a dip in it. Some bottles of water for anyone turning up late would be nice. All minor things really as we were very pleased overall.

Summary: The bougainvillea makes this villa and gardens so pretty and welll cared for .Pool is a good size and clean . Close to nerja but Maro village is lovely when you want some calm evenings! The mattresses in the other bedrooms could be better!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. The house is fabulous, Lovely location and walking distance to coffee shop. Nerja is lovely, some lovely restaurants. Mora beach is worth visiting and you can paddle board to see the waterfalls. Fully reccomend this property to anyone!

Summary: Having made the decision to stay in the Nerja area I started researching villas in that locality. This property seemed to sit head and shoulders above the rest and more importantly the reviews extremely positive. Having now stayed in the villa I can say those reviews were honest and accurate. Ian the local agent was prompt in his replies to my inquiries and everything went smoothly. Documentation and directions to the villa were superb. In all we had a wonderful experience and would be more than happy to rebook this villa. The proof for me was my 20-year-old daughter's comment which was simply that' this is the best villa we have stayed in for years'.

Summary: The Villa was superb, excellent location and superb views. Facilities met all our requirements, very clean and tidy. Great base for exploring Maro and Nerja both just a short distance from the villa. Very quiet and peaceful location. The customer service we received from Ian Gillespie was top class and very professional. From taxi pick up/return at airport, to organising car hire, and garden maintenance. All our requirements were met and we relaxed completely during our holiday. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. Nerja and Maro are beautiful places to visit, and we were not disapointed once when eating out at various restaurants during our stay.
