Summary: Was enough space fit for a family had the basics required for a family aswell aircon not as good as wat it should be as it’s in the wrong place and gets quite hot upstairs so a aircon upstairs would be perfect. Due to the size of the house it’s needed. If there was a washing machine would of been perfect otherwise was good house and area was nice aswell.

Summary: Positives- house as per photos/description. Good location if staying for a police college grad & close to Porirua/Whitby town. Decent heating & water stayed hot for a group of 10 for showers. Nice decor. Negatives - ants in kitchen, fridge had greasy marks/crumbs on shelves like not cleaned at all, had to buy extra toilet paper on first day & no extra bin liners provided in kitchen, bedding in downstairs room had a unpleasant smell.

Summary: Communication with owners was excellent! Beds were very comfortable! Nice to have enough dining space for our large group. However floors seemed a bit dirty and no cleaning equipment for us to use except for small broom and dustbuster. The stairs to the upper floor had no handrail. Overall our stay was enjoyable and suitable for our needs.

Summary: We needed a place to stay during house renovations. This was a home away from home for us. We absolutely loved all the walks to the lookouts, the inlet and the lakes. The host is super and very easy to communicate with. A great base if you want to explore the greater Wellington region.
