Summary: Sabrina’s villa was truly fantastic! We stay in villas every year in France and this was the best by far! The outside space was beautiful and my mum is disabled but the accommodation made her feel confident and comfortable. Despite language barriers Sabrina was very helpful and made us feel very welcome!! We will definitely visit again....great property, good location, lovely owner! Thank you Sabrina xx

Summary: As a guest from the UK we thoroughly enjoyed the house, the comfortable decor and the very cool fusion between traditional french and modern design. The outdoor space was fantastic and the facilities in the garden more than met our requirements (a party of seven). However, our experience of the property wasn't as private as we had expected. The outbuildings had a continual flow of new arrivals throughout our stay and Sabrina tried her best to introduce everyone upon arrival - creating a more shared-social atmosphere. We didn't expect this, so it came as a bit of a surprise. The property is more like a boutique B&B, with 3 rooms - a "suite" (which is the cottage containing three bedrooms) and 2 smaller "suites" for smaller groups. Think of it as a small boutique hotel with an exclusive feel and shared outdoor space. Whilst the kitchen was contained in our "private" cottage, most mornings Sabrina had to enter a number of times to retrieve cups, equipment and items she needed for general food preparation for other guests. Despite this (and adjusting to the set up) we did enjoy our stay very much. It took time for us to adjust to how it all worked but we liked our short stay here. Sabrina is very welcoming, very friendly and very knowledgeable. She helped us with going to some great places on Ile De Re and gave us great advice and tips throughout. Our kids really warmed to her and she was very apologetic when she had to interrupt our stay by entering the house. Overall, it was a great space and a beautiful setting. If you're travelling from the UK you need to think "posh B&B" rather than private villa. Once you have that in mind, you'll really enjoy your stay here. Thanks Sabrina!
