Positive: The room is big with a small balcony on a main street, Anspanch. Basic kitchen. Clean

Negative: You can not get a key at the spot. Even check-in is only online, which is a very frustrating system. You can get a key at another place, but you still need to do an online check-in. At checkout again, you need to give a key at one location, and if you want to store luggage, you have to go to another location .... You lose a lot of time just getting in and out of the room, especially inconvenient if you have more luggage.

Positive: I like the location of the apartment as I had a good view of Brussels. I also like the fact that I was in second floor hence less stairs to climb. I liked the fact that I was called by Smartflats customer care to ensure I was having a good stay at their apartment after my first night. One notable mention was having baby cot and feeding chair in the room. It was an unexpected nice to have especially since we have a toddler.

Negative: Perhaps, changing the sofa bed and putting either a standing or tower fan for summer usage will be better because of the heat as the sun blast the window directly and can really be hot. Although, I may be lucky to use less stairs as I stayed in second floor but I can’t say same for people in higher floors and wonder if there’s a way to retrofit a lift to the building
