Summary: Our short vacation was fantastic. The beautiful beach and low tides are amazing there. We did paddleboarding, kayaking, and walking. It is a good place for swimming. Very nice and clean house with all the supplies. It makes vacations more comfortable.

Summary: The Crow’s Nest cottage was great. It is set back with a view of the ocean from the porch. We loved watching the tides come in and out. The cottage has everything you need for a super enjoyable stay. It is clean, well stocked, and has comfy beds. The location is wonderful and exploring the beach each day is the reason to go for us. Darryl is a super attentive property owner and makes sure you have everything that is needed. We look forward to coming back again.

Summary: Great experience. We drove the whole east coast and the north central coast. The crows nest cottage in wood islands is positioned perfect. Water being in a protected bay was calm and peaceful well protected looking out at the northumberland straight and Nova Scotia. It was great driving around and exploring but it’s tough to match the calmness , sand and beach this cottage offered. We saw a bald eagle on the property and seals in the ocean.

Summary: We were so thrilled with our stay at Homeport’s Crows Nest cottage! It's so well maintained, the kitchen is fully stocked, the bathroom was very clean and tidy – lots of towels and the wifi was really good! Just out the front door there’s a great deck with two eating/lounging areas. It’s on a lovely property that has a private beach, so you can go for a little walk along the water and hunt for beautiful sea shells, sit on the beach and tuck your toes in the soft sand or sit on a bench for two and take it the lovely view. At low tide you could walk quite a ways with the clear water barely knee high and you get to see some little crabs and tiny hermit crabs now and then! Darryl, our host, was a pleasure to work with, he was super responsive and flexible! We would definitely love to stay there again. A little slice of heaven!
