Its location is superb, just minutes from the city, with trams and trains only moments away. Fitrzoy can be described as the love child of Soho and Greenwich Village because of its great location, shops, galleries and personality.
Soho52 is a genuine walk to the city, MCG, Rod Laver arena and sporting precincts, museum, and parklands. On your doorstep are so many great restaurants, cafes and shops.
The free city circle tram is only a short stroll away and will take you to many popular locations such as Federation Square, the aquarium, the museum, Southbank, Casino, and Docklands.
*** Instead of paying a bond, guests are welcome to provide details of a credit card to be held over the duration of their stay (only $1 taken to verify the card). Otherwise a $500 bond is payable.
You are very welcome to enquire about 2 night bookings, but we cannot always accommodate short bookings.
Strictly no parties, gatherings, or events,are allowed at the accommodation. Excessive noise in the immediate area of the accommodation including the street, garden and balconies will also not be tolerated. Summary: The apartment is very modern, superbly equipped and comfortable. We did a lot of cooking, washed a lot of clothes and had everything we needed. The area of Fitzroy is full of great places to eat and to shop. Walking and efficient public transportation made getting anywhere in the city very easy- walking to the Australian Open took 30 minutes mostly walking through a park. We hope to get back to Melbourne and stay there again. Jane and George WA USA

Summary: Modern, clean, fully equipped to make your stay in Melbourne pleasurable. Restaurants close by or Lygon Street just a short walk away. Free tram service just a 5 minute walk for quick transportation into the city. The accommodation has everything that other places dont think of (hangers, all the kitchen supplies required...do don't have to make a stop at the grocery store, as everything was thought of). A great place to stay!!!!

Summary: Great location, comfortable beds with everything and more you could ask for in the property, The kitchen was pretty well stacked with essentials for our stay which was very much appreciated and a very short walk to the hospital and close proximity to the city. Summary: Please note that this property has only 1 bathroom despite being advertised as having 2. The 2nd bathroom, off the small second bedroom, is only a toilet and vanity. There is no shower here. The property was extremely dusty throughout. The hot plates were rusty (the main one not working), oven filthy, washing machine had black mould in the door seal, dryer filter not cleaned and no bedside tables in second bedroom - not enough room. If this property was thoroughly cleaned and advertised as 1 bathroom I would consider it an excellent choice. The main living room/ kitchen area is large, well furnished and the kitchen very well equipped. There is a small balcony. The property is on the first floor up 2 short flights of stairs. Unfortunately, there is no sound proofing and you hear the front door open and shut all night. Apart from this, the neighbours are very quiet and you should respect them as they live here permanently. ie. No parties! Security is good as is access to trams to the city.

Summary: We spent a week at Soho 52 and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had our own car but really didn't need it because the access to public transportation was excellent. Gertrude Street was right there with its many groovy bars and restaurants but you could easy eat in at the apartment with its well resources kitchen. Very comfortable bedrooms and Katrina was a welcoming host. We will be back!!

Summary: Katrina was very accommodating, letting us drop off bags early. Soho52 is quiet, clean and comfortable. Just around the corner from Gertrude St and Brunswick St where there's so many great food options even vegan! Air con was much appreciated on the day we arrived - 38 degrees. We loved our stay and would totally recommend.
