This is the original country style house on our much loved family acreage property which comfortably sleeps 8 guests (3 bedrooms) including a large exterior deck showcasing uninterrupted views of Lake Somerset. Escape for a quiet relaxing break, enjoy water sports and fishing on the lake or explore the wide variety of activities the Somerset Region has to offer.
Appreciate the unique outlook this property has to offer, being one of the few completely uninterrupted views of Somerset Dam. There is a large fenced house yard with plenty of space available for you to use while enjoying the serene outlook of the property.
Bedding configuration is:
Bed 1: Queen
Bed 2: Queen
Bed 3: Queen + 2 x single
Split system air-conditioning in lounge area
BBQ on deck
Fully fenced - plenty of room to park boats/jet-skis
All bed linen (including, sheets, doonas, pillows & pillowcases) and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own swim towels.
Please note there is no access to Somerset Dam from our Property. The Kirkleagh boat ramp is only 5 minute drive and Somerset boat ramp is a 15 minute drive.

Summary: The accommodation is cosey and comfortable with spectacular views of the lake. Unfortunately, the weather was colder than expected with gusty afternoon winds which exposed the rear deck to the elements. Perhaps a suggestion might be to have some weather blinds installed. But all in all we had a great time. Cheers

Summary: We had the most amazing time at this property. Only a short drive to the boat ramp. We spent most of our time on the deck. The kids loved playing in the yard and picking the oranges. The horses were so friendly. The house was clean with lovely linen. Large fridge and pantry and reasonably stocked kitchen. We hope to return soon!

Summary: Absolutely loved our stay here and we will definitely be back to stay again! Just noted there was no HDMI cord for the DVD player. Could only recommend maybe adding a sign in the bathroom/kitchen regarding how hot the water is, seems as though there is no temp value. But overall, we loved our stay!

Summary: Lovely little cottage with amazing views of the dam. Perfectly clean with a well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Cottage is quite small but has a good size deck and bedrooms are spacious. Ideal spot to rest up after a day on the water. Would recommend.

Summary: We stayed here with two families and kids aged 7-12. It was such a wonderful break. The house was cozy, clean and comfortable and the view was just incredible. Very good for the soul! We hired a fishing boat at the nearby NRMA campsite (6 mins drive) and enjoyed a meal at The Exchange at Kilcoy plus a visit to the Kilcoy skatepark. But mostly, we just enjoyed the view and chatting on the lovely deck while the kids ran around and played in the yard. Highly recommended!

Summary: Our group of 6 adults and a 2 year old had a great stay. There was plenty of space in the yard to play games and the scenery is great. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed.
