Summary: The room was clean and comfortable and close to Union Station. I loved having a washer/dryer and full kitchen in the room. Would absolutely stay again.

Summary: Location is decent, cleanliness felt below average. Walls are PAPER thin, you will hear your neighbors clearly. We thankfully had respectful neighbors but could hear their conversations clearly. Bed was very creaky, mattress felt lumpy, sheets are thin and not very breathable. Decided upon return to Chicago we’ll book a standard hotel. You can find better stays in better areas of interest for the same price as we book at Sonder

Summary: Nice spacious room with full kitchen. Shower door wrongly installed, flooding bathroom every time. Not beat area of downtown. Not soundproof - can hear every word from apartment next door and on top.

Summary: We stayed at the Sonder Burnham Apartments for 6 nights. We liked the communication from Sonder regarding check in. We did know we had to set up the App before we left. We liked the ability to open the doors with your phone. The apartment was really clean. We had a studio apartment and it was really well appointed with appliances and homeware. We liked the cupboard in the lobby where you could pick up extra toilet rolls or coffee sachets etc. The only thing we would criticise is something other reviewers have said and that’s the fact the noise insulation isn’t very good. We could hear the people in the next door apartment talking really clearly. It wasn’t a big deal as they weren’t there for long but it was quite late. The walk to the nearest Metro station was easy and the apartments are right opposite Union Station as well. If we come back to Chicago we will definitely book here again.

Summary: I was here for two weeks for business. I requested a cleaning and change of sheets - never happened. Overall, the location was fine. Initially, the room was clean when I arrived. Communication was okay. It would have been better had a one bedroom been available

Summary: The hotel was super easy to find! The area it was in was safe. I will say the floors were a little dirty and there was no dryer, just a washer. The windows were a little dirty so you couldn’t really see outside the window. Overall the stay was good

Summary: My stay was incredible? My only complaint is that when I selected the pay later at the property option, that logistically did not work for this type of stay. This property did not have a reception desk with humans working, so paying at the property would not have worked. If I would not have contacted Sonder and Hotels.com via chat, the night before, I would have been stranded outside of the property without an access code, in downtown Chicago. All was resolved quickly the night before, so no worries.

Summary: Our stay was very nice and comfortable. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay. Location was great for what we needed to do. The only less than positive comment would be that 4:00pm is late for check in and $15/hr fee for early check in is unusual for a hotel stay.
