Summary: The room was spacious and perfect for a family trip. The location was also quite convenient — easy access to central Tokyo areas like Shinjuku and Tokyo Station. We loved that there were plenty of great restaurants and shopping centers nearby. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the in-house restaurant served delicious meals. Overall, it felt like a relaxing resort stay, and we’d definitely love to come back again.

Summary: Beautiful modern hotel in an incredible area with lots of great places to eat around. If you are trying to get to know Japan and don’t want to be in the middle of Tokyo just yet this is perfect

Summary: I took 15 minutes to check in because the staff couldn’t find my name. The use of the swimming pool and gym is not included; you have to pay extra for a spa pass to enter. Breakfast is also charged extra. There were only two bottles of water in the fridge, and additional bottles incur an extra charge. There was no toothbrush or amenities in the room, and requests for these items also require an extra charge. The room itself is nice, but that’s about it.

Summary: Arrived around 12 and were only staying one night, leaving early the next morning. The check in is at 3 and you are not able to use the facilities at the hotel before check in. We asked if we could use the roof top pool before check in, after some discussions we were allowed to use the pool from 1, but we had to pay an additional fee (5500 yen). We did not get any explanation why we had to wait one hour. We stayed at the pool for a few hours, there were no other guests there and we question why it was so difficult to gain access before check in. The hotel and pool is beautiful, but the service level is very low.

Summary: Great space and location for few days stay for a family of four. Easy access to the train station, shopping areas, and park. Hotel staff are pretty friendly and I love their cafe space.

Summary: We had a wonderful 5-night stay here. The hotel and surroundings are exceptionally beautiful and well designed. The view from the room and balcony towards the park is spectacular. I cannot say enough good things about each and every one of the service staff, especially the front desk manager/asst director, who went out of his way to help us with advice and restaurants reservations etc. And just about everything we ate at Tachikawa was delicious. Thank you for the happy memories, Sorano Hotel.
