Summary: Nice place to stay but have some smoking smell. Room space is more than enough for three persons. Dinner buffet is not recommended but lack of selection in near places.

Summary: Very nice hotel for the money. Really nice outdoor onsen hot spring baths. Nice buffet dinner for half board - great range of things.

Summary: Hotel staff is very helpful, who help us to book the bus from Sapporo JR station directly to the hotel (which is only JPY1,000 per head one way). You can also ask them to help to book the bus from hotel to Katami (only JPY1,600 per head one way). Very good hill view from the room.

Summary: Good traditional ryoukan type of setting. The included dinner and breakfast buffets were great and with good variety. Our room was very spacious for 4 of us. The outside hot tub was great. It's too bad that the hiking trails were covered by heavy snow and we weren't able to walk outside but, of course, the hotel has nothing to do with it.

Summary: The staff at the hotel were always very nice to us. From the moment we arrived to the hotel, they greeted us with a smile and walked us to our room. They explained the hours for dinner and breakfast and hot springs. After that, we went to have dinner. Dinner is really good if you're into Japanese food, there are few Western options but you're probably in Japan to enjoy the Japanese culture. When we got back to our room, our futons were already laid on the tatami. We went to enjoy the hot springs, they have both indoor and outdoor. The outdoor experience was interesting since outside the temperature was -14 C (about 7 F), but the hot water will prevent you from being cold at all (your hair may freeze). There's an option to get a massage outside the hot spring entrance. Next morning we had a very complete Japanese breakfast and after checking out we wanted to check out the town but we needed to take the bus. We didn't want to go back to the hotel to pick up our luggage, but the hotel staff told us they would gladly take it to the bus stop by the time we needed to catch the bus. It was truly great service and we couldn't be happier with our stay.

Summary: No wifi in the room, the dinner buffet have snow crab and decent mini steak. There is two Onsen spa, one at 5f have open roof and huge bath pool. Hotel itself is pretty old and seems popular to tour groups. With the same price, should have many better choice in this area.
