Enjoy our large, beautiful, quiet, 4-bedroom home located blocks from Ashland’s mainstreet and Lake Superior. Our home, with its charming archways and front porch, is in an excellent location for shopping and activities all year long. Ashland’s Main Street has unique gift shops with items made by local artists and many restaurants and bars. You’ll find fresh food at the Chequamegon Food Co-op, Saturday Farmers Market and great coffee at the local Black Cat. The greater Chequamegon Bay Area, including Washburn and Bayfield, have many festivals and activities and unique shopping all year long as well. In the winter months enjoy Book Across the Bay, Cross Country and Downhill Skiing, Snowmobiling, Fishing, and Winter Hiking. In the summer months enjoy Cavern Trails, Big Top Chautauqua Theater and Music venue, Boating, Kayaking, Art Festivals, Canoeing and more! Enjoy the area’s Restaurants, Bars, Distilleries, and Wineries.
Enjoy our comfy and welcoming space in small town Wisconsin with all the comforts of home including a private yard, firepit, central air, new fridge and stove, microwave, blender, coffee maker and plenty of kitchen pans/pots/tools for cooking. We're really proud and excited to share our home with you. We love the area and purchased the home to visit our son regularly with our son who is an Ashland resident. Summary: Older, but clean and nice property. We were on a very short stay, so did not use hardly any of the amenities, but could see how useful they would be. Nice deck and firepit area. Good wifi and speaker system to hook up to. Slight downside was only one bathroom.

Summary: I have to admit I chose this house because first there were not a lot of choices and secondly there were 8 great reviews. The pictures are accurate but do not capture the charm factor! This house was wonderful! Yes it is an older home but when you walk in you can sense the love and care that has gone into its upkeep. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The livingroom was spacious and comfy. They even had all of our favorite board games. The upstairs had three spacious bedrooms and an additional room with the single bed with very comfortable beds. I highly recommend this house!

Summary: We were in Ashland Thursday through Sunday for our daughters wedding. We had 6 adults and plenty of room. The location of the house made it a perfect home base and gathering point for family and other wedding guests between events. From booking right up until check out, we are all very satisfied with this home and would recommend it.

Summary: Overall we were very happy with the little white house. It was a great location for all that we needed and Simon did a great job to respond quickly to our enquiries. As others have stated, that yard needs some work and there were other quirks that could be addressed. HOWEVER, do not let any of that deter you from a great stay in Ashland! Being just a couple of blocks from downtown/lakefront and the tri-county corridor it was ideal for exploring the area. Definitely worth the trip! ***We were a party of 6 and the one bathroom was adequate for us!
