Positive: Lovely village location. On site parking. Generally a nice cottage.
Negative: Rules of no dogs upstairs, in a dog friendly cottage, not apparent at time of booking. 1 sofa seemed to lack support. Double bed mattress very soft, bed frame very squeaky.

Positive: The cottage is in a great location, lots of great walks nearby including a riverside walk to Bakewell (40 mins walk) , the village is very pretty. There are two pubs within easy walking distance. The Bulls Head was our favourite, it is a few doors down from the property, the staff were very welcoming and the food superb! The Ashford Arms is opposite, a trendy large hotel / gastro pub. Offered good food. Our children enjoyed feeding the ducks at The Sheepwash Bridge. Duck food can be purchased from the nearby cafe. The cottage was spotlessly clean, warm and cosy. There is plenty of on street parking and a private parking bay at the rear of the property.
Negative: There wasn’t a blind in the kitchen window.
