Negative: A party all night long (till 400am) in the room next door 😩 Also really need hairdryers in the renovated bathrooms !! You supply a jug and iron but no hairdryer

Positive: Have stayed at the Southend Hotel several times. It is always a pleasant stay, clean & comfortable with all that one needs. There is a laundry on site. The pub downstairs has a decent restaurant with good food. Supermarket, Chemist, Baker, Fruit & Veg, Takeaway & coffee all available next door. Buses also close by. Plus the beach.

Negative: Maybe the stairs would be a problem for some people.

Positive: Spacious, recently refurbished room in a great 'village' location. Ideal for our Sydney stopover, where we wanted to do some beach walks. Really handy having the shops and Irish Pub right next door.

Negative: The shower head was difficult to angle away from the too short shower screen, hence the almost flooded floor after our teenager had a shower 😬
