Summary: Our group had a great stay in the Farmhouse. Rick and Barbara were so kind and generous. The house was immaculately clean. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked. Our kids had a blast playing on the playground and the property. Hot tub was perfect for stargazing. We would definitely stay again!

Summary: Rick and Barbi’s farmhouse was one of the most beautifully renovated and maintained rentals we’ve ever stayed in. It was also the most well appointed rental we’ve ever stayed in. Sherman was about a 20 minute drive for groceries/shopping. Bonham was about 15 minutes, and Wolfe City was 35ish minutes. Highly recommend this home over hotels in the area.

Summary: What a wonderful place! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at 'Farmhouse 1752'. Not only was the home impeccably decorated with unbelievable attention to detail, the hosts were amazing. We were in Texas for a wedding and there were multiple severe storms over the course of our stay. Our hosts checked in on us, letting us know where all the emergency supplies are and telling us to put our vehicles in the garage. Not only did they check in on us during the storm, they checked in the next day to make sure we were O.K. The property is beautiful and the home is very comfortable and welcoming. We were greeted with fresh flowers and a gift basket. We all felt 'at home' immediately and were sad to leave. This is a ten plus star property!

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the impeccable landscaping that surrounded the property, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful firepit area, which provided the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings in the evening. It was clear that a lot of thought and care had gone into creating this outdoor space, making it an ideal place to gather with friends or family. Inside, the property was equally impressive. The kitchen was well-equipped with high-quality cookware, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. The linens and furnishings throughout the home were of the highest quality, providing both comfort and style. Every detail, from the tasteful décor to the thoughtful amenities, contributed to the overall feeling of luxury and warmth. What truly set this property apart was the fact that it felt like a home rather than a rental. Summary: Thank you for sharing your lovely place. My girlfriends and have been friends since we were in the first grade. We try to get together a couple of times a year as we all live in different parts of the state. We try to find places that are secluded and away from a lot of noise and activity so we can just enjoy each other. Your place definitely fit the bill. The house was just emaculate and beautifully decorated. The setting was so serene and just beautiful. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony with our wine in the evening to enjoy the view and the sunset and were fortunate to have great weather. I hesitate to add this suggestion since everything was so wonderful, but given our ages and short statures, the bed in the downstairs bedroom was very difficult, if not impossible, to get into. One of my friends is 6 foot tall and was able to manage it, otherwise we couldn't have used it. I would suggest some kind of step if possible. Again, thank you so much for a lovely stay. It was the perfect place for us to leave everything behind and enjoy each other.

Summary: Our stay at the farmhouse was perfect! My husband and I wanted a nice place outside of the city to host our family for Thanksgiving and this place checked all of the boxes. The home and property are beautiful, clean and very well maintained. We enjoyed time inside around the fireplace but spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the amazing property and outdoor fire pit. To top it off, the owners are great! They made the check in/out process so easy and they are very quick to respond. We highly recommend this property and look forward to our next stay!
