What a cutie pie! This adorable cottage is in one of Southold's most beautiful neighborhoods. If you like to kayak or paddleboard, you will love the location of this sweet cottage within steps of Goose Creek. Our ocean kayak and SUP paddle board are kept at Goose Creek and use of them comes with all rentals...... Just take a short walk down to the water and jump in! Or, if you'd rather hit the beach, the cottage is centered within moments of the trifecta of Southold's best sandy Bay beaches: South Harbor Beach, Cedar Beach, and Goose Creek Beach. If you enjoy the vineyards, it is within mere minutes to countless North Forth wineries and within moments to favorites like Croteaux, Corey Creek, Raphael and Mattabella. It is also just down the road from the beautiful Custer Observatory which allows for a restorative evening of stargazing most Saturday nights. Some of the loveliest bicycling routes cross the path of this neighborhood and shouldn't be missed. The location couldn't be better from all that the North Fork offers. It's also just a stone's throw to Greenport, one of the loveliest small port villages on the East coast with some of the best restaurants this side of the city. Our home is central to everything you could want to do on the North Fork yet the cottage is quiet and peaceful and has a truly relaxing vibe. It is a super comfortable home in the summer and a cozy refuge in the winter.
The house comes equipped with central AC, cable tv plus premium channels, super fast wifi for work at home, and a large private back yard. King bed in the primary and twin beds in the 2nd bedroom. There is one full bath with tub/shower combo and an enormous outdoor shower that is heavenly! The kitchen comes with all modern conveniences and appliances big and small. The basement holds an extra refrigerator for storage. The house has a convenient combination LG washer/ dryer in the main house, and an extra traditional washer and dryer in the basement. The spacious and private backyard offers a BBQ, hammock, picnic table and huge firepit area for lingering into the night. There is a large patio area with comfy loveseats and chairs.
The private neighborhood association creek beach leads out to the gorgeous Goose Creek Beach and is famous for kayaking, paddle boarding, clamming and fishing. There are benches at the creek which allow for beautiful evening strolls to sit and watch the moon come up. This charming cottage is in one of Southold's most serene areas in one of the country's oldest towns. You will love biking or just walking in this lovely neighborhood that is centered in the heart of the North Fork's oldest and most desirable town.
Rentals of 29 nights or under 29 nights will be taxed at Suffolk County taxes of 5%.
For rentals of 30 nights (or more than 30 nights,) taxes will be collected at booking and then refunded after check in.
Renter assumes ALL liability when using bikes, kayaks and paddle boards.
*Southold Town issues parking/beach permits only for rentals of 2 weeks or longer.

Summary: The home has a cozy beachy feel and equipped with everything you could need. Pretty bedrooms with comfortable beds. The home has a lot of windows making the house very bright with natural light. Location is great, we visited several wineries that were very close as well as the Catapano goat farm for fresh cheese and the private Goose Creek Beach was just up the road! We enjoyed the outdoor shower and having coffee on the patio in backyard. Wish we had the time to stay longer to see more of the area. Our stay was very relaxing and we are looking forward to rebooking!

Summary: Lovely cottage close to James port and Greenport. We went in early spring so didn’t go to the water but we enjoyed local thrifting and food. Place was clean and the owner was accessible and responsive. I would stay again.

Summary: Our stay here with girlfriends for a wine weekend away was perfect. Joy was a pleasure and luckily we didn't need to reach out to her at all. The cottage is tiny, cozy, clean with crisp white colors. The beds, linens and extra towels were such a relief to not have to bring ourselves. The location of the house was perfect, between so many vineyards and greenport. I would love to come back to this house!

Summary: This was the perfect little lovely cottage!!! Clean, adorable furnishings, comfortable beds, a wonderful backyard! We utilized the outdoor fire pit and had an amazing, relaxing time! We were there to visit the wineries, farms and Greenport Village, and this cottage was in the perfect location for all of that! Joy was easy to communicate with, although we had no issues whatsoever, so we didn’t need to reach out, but I have no doubt she would have been quick to respond. We will definitely stay again!

Summary: It was a perfect little spot for a work from home getaway. It's in a cute little neighborhood, close to a lot of North Fork activities. The house is clean and well appointed. Joy was very communicative and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely go back.

Summary: This cottage was the quintessential North Fork cottage…cute and quaint! Growing up in central LI when it was still country, and coming back to the North Fork where it is STILL country was priceless and filled with heartfelt memories! This cottage & neighborhood gave me the “long time ago” feel/memories of my childhood that I was hoping for! The central location in Southold was perfect for what we wanted to do. This cottage had everything we needed, and wanted. Well stocked, fabulous outdoor seating to relax with a cocktail, fun bikes for exploring, peaceful Goose Creek neighborhood park with kayaks and paddle board was so relaxing. The outdoor shower was a fun plus after a long, very hot day! Don’t know how I’ve lived without this feature in my own home, lol! Joy thought of everything and is a very responsive host. 💛

Summary: We had an enjoyable week at this cute cottage. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our vacation. The cottage is close to restaurants, wineries, and farm stands and just down the road from the Custer Observatory. I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to learn stand up paddle boarding in a secluded cove where I couldn't get into any trouble.
