The Spa House is for those who are looking to get away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life. Located just north of St. Joseph, our house is on a 1.4 acre wooded lot on a dead-end street with a fenced-in backyard for plenty of privacy. This tranquil property sits on a bluff with sweeping views of Lake Michigan. Relax on the large deck, lounge poolside (20' by 40' in-ground pool), or unwind in the hot tub and watch the spectacular Lake Michigan sunsets.
This 3000 sq. foot home is ideally suited for multiple or extended families vacationing together. The house has one King bed in the Master Bedroom, and a Queen bed and 2 Twin beds in the other main-floor bedroom, one Queen and two Queens in the garden level bedrooms. The house also has a lakeside sun room that includes cathedral ceilings with skylights and a sauna. Wireless Internet is accessible throughout the home. Full week Saturday-Saturday rentals only June-August.
Swimming Pool: Our heated swimming pool comes with a safety cover for your peace of mind while vacationing at the Spa House. The cover is on a motorized track that seals the pool with the push of a button.
The Spa House is also available for off season rental as a weekend scrapbooking retreat. See link below.
Do to the high water and erosion, we no longer have access to the beach.

Summary: Great place to spend a week. Short distance to St. Joseph or any number of small outdoor recreation areas. The house has plenty of room for 9 adults and 3 kids. The property is well kept.

Summary: House was wonderful and Greg the host was even better. Any question we had Greg was available to us. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Very spacious clean and wonderful for family and friends (and small children)

Summary: We had a wonderful week at this house - the view from the backyard is beautiful and the pool was wonderful. The house had lots of board games, some Legos, and books which were great for kids and the family. There were several different spaces for lounging and visiting with family indoors (not all pictured in listing). Kitchen and pantry was very well stocked. Would certainly return again.

Summary: We had a great week. The weather cooperated and the kids played in the pool every day. We enjoyed the pool toys/floats that were available. Also saw some wonderful sunsets from the deck. It’s unfortunate that there is no longer beach access from the house but we went to the beach just north a couple of miles. It wasn’t very busy – probably helped that we avoided the weekends. Would love to see some updates to the garden level but we appreciated ample pillows and blankets that were available and multiple areas on the top floor for all to congregate. We would love to come back.

Summary: This house is much nicer in person than pictured. There is a beautiful sun room, a tucked away sitting area, and an extra family room on the lower level. The pool was such a bonus and the sunsets were amazing!
