A luxury vacation condo unit at Solara Resort & Spa. One bedroom with king-size bed plus Queen-size sofa bed. Everything you need to unwind. Soak in the hot tub, relax in front of the fireplace, or have a patio chat with family and friends. Easy access to the highway and only a 15 minutes walk to downtown, 20 minutes drive to Banff. Professionally cleaned. We offer free parking, WIFI, bear spray, hiking poles, and a storage for your bikes. Plus, all access to resort facilities such as pool, hot tub, Gym, Ski waxing room... etc. This is a good place exactly for you!
Important Notice:
Our building Aurora elevator is out of service for a maintenance/replacement over the next few months... not sure when... maybe it will be good in July. Luckily, since our unit is on the main floor, you can load your luggage from the north street side of entrance instead of the underground parkade. If you park in the underground parkade P2, you take the stairs (just right to the elevator) to the main floor. Count 40 stairs... A good exercise!

Summary: The unit was amazing, very spacious and easy to access. Construction in the lobby right next to the unit started at 8:30am everyday, but I was already awake by then anywaus.

Summary: Clean, roomy & well stocked condo. Host very communicative & easy to work with. Great location can walk to everywhere in Canmore. Close to hiking trails and kayaking. Will return and make more time to play.

Summary: Overall unit provided what we needed. Unit needs a little deep clean on some things (shower head needs a good calcium build up removal, hard water stains on sink and tub, clean dishes in dishwasher that I had to unload upon arrival, lint trap of dryer broken so keeps falling out). Otherwise though very clean. Only other personal preference is pretty dimly lit. Due to being on main floor all windows are shaded as you are right by the door and visible to everyone from the bedroom and livingroom. All lights were not very bright so seemed very dim especially on those rainy days. We would stay again as other than what I mentioned was a fabulous unit with great communication with owners.

Summary: The condo was perfect, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Extra added touches like shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion and laundry soap was awesome. All the tourist brochures and guides left on desk were also great. Kitchen had everything also. Couch and loveseat were uncomfortable but king size bed was great. Solara resort was beautiful, used the hot tub and pool. Location was great, only a 10-15 min walk to downtown. Really enjoyed Canmore overall, beautiful town, preferred it over Banff. Places we visited during our 5 day trip were Grassi Lakes Trail, Lake Louise, Lake Moraine, Banff, Johnston Canyon, Lake Minnewanka, Boundary Ranch and Kananskis River for rafting. Would highly recommend Canmore and this great condo if visiting the Rockies. Check-in was super easy and communication from owners was great.
