Summary: In the summer it is a cool house, due to good insulation. Close to a good eatery and 1.2 km from a local supermarket. The distance is too far for the heavier groceries, without a car. The beach is clean and quiet, little tourism. The owner was easily accessible if necessary.

Summary: Most important...the location is great. If you're looking for a quiet neighborhood just steps from an absolutely beautiful beach, this is the place for you. Very conveniently located near several towns with all necessities (supermarkets, restaurants, beaches), we really enjoyed our stay. The villa was clean and comfortable enough, with enough room, but it should be better equipped to make it a 5 star location. We had 6 people and more can fit, but only 1 umbrella and 3 beach chairs (2 of which we discovered hidden behind the living room couch) are provided. The kitchen has cooking equipment and the bathrooms were fine (shower stalls are very small), but nothing more was provided to get us started...no coffee, no bottled water, no garbage bags, no paper towel, no shampoo, no soap. While not absolutely necessary, it's important to provide those things to make the initial stay more comfortable. The wifi worked, but was very spotty and did not work at all on the top or bottom levels (the home is 3 stories). Finally, midway through our stay, the front door lock seized up and couldn't be opened, necessitating a locksmith to come out. I don't mean to complain...the location was great, the place was comfortable, the beach was spectacular and the caretaker, Sam, and her husband were very responsive and accommodating, but the owner can do much more to make the stay more comfortable at check in. When they do that, it can be a five star location.

Summary: We had a great time. Kath was very helpful providing additional information before booking. The local team of Sam, Cosimo and Ornella were super friendly. The house was cool and comfortable. We enjoyed the patio and the bbq. The kitchen is well equipped and they provide all linens including beach towels, and even the beach umbrellas. Thank you
