Summary: Simple and clean place to stay. Good neighborhood with everything close by. Everything is very updated and in good condition. We were in need of a kitchen during our stay and that is why we booked a house in lieu of a hotel. The kitchen is basic but is equipped with almost everything needed. I'm a little confused about the cabinets not having any knobs or pulls. It made things a bit challenging to use. I work in construction and it's a simple thing to install. Overall I would recommend this for families or groups. Nice little property. The hosts were very responsive and we had all the necessary amenities.

Summary: We came for our daughter’s graduation from NIU. Overall our stay was very nice, we had a few questions and the host was very responsive. The yard was very tall and needed mowed and the flower beds needed weeded but the weather had not allowed it until Saturday of our stay. The host stayed in contact with us letting us know when to expect the yard to be mowed. We had some trouble with the nest thermostat and turned out the HVAC was off at the source, once again host was very responsive and things were taken care of.

Summary: Over all a good stay. Kitchen faucet is broken and the TV in the living room not hooked up but not major for our visit. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Summary: We needed a place for two families that was pet friendly. This house provided just the right amount of space for us. It was clean and there were plenty of linens and towels. The kitchen had enough for us to get by for a few days, but I wouldn't want to stay there for an extended amount of time. Some things were a little wonky-loose kitchen sink faucet, the back of one of the dining room chairs was really loose, but none of that bothered us since we were only there a few days. The owners were very quick to respond when we had questions. If it's available the next time we're in town, we would consider staying here again.

Summary: We booked this property in order to attend a Drum Corp INTL show at NIU Huskie stadium. We had 4 adults so having 3 bedrooms was a requirement. The location to the school was very convenient. A 6-7 minute drv at most to the stadium. Overall the property was in good/fair condition. The use of the word luxury to describe is not appropriate. The Pros - Fully stocked bath amenities & new towels for both bathrooms. Both bathrooms looked newly remodeled. Cute, mostly new decor upstairs. WIFI and password provided. All bedrooms had TV's. Keurig coffee maker provided. The A/C worked well. The Cons- The front and back porches need repair and restaining as the wear of an older home is showing. No screen door upstairs. The online outside photo does not reflect the property as it currently looks as the huge tree was removed leaving the yard exposed & not well manicured. The back porch had no seating! The Primary bedroom is up narrow stairs, so those w/ mobility issues may not do well. The 2 bedrooms downstairs are both missing curtains over the small windows, so daylight at 5a was prevalent. The other windows in all 3 bedrooms could use room darkening curtain, not the shear curtains provided, for the same reason, 5a daylight. The use of blazing white light LED bulbs in just about every fixture was a tad blinding. It also let hundreds of bugs swarm the front door while we tried to enter and exit at night. The newer kitchen shaker style cabinets had no handles, difficult to open
