Positive: This was a family break for my husband and I,our 2 adult children, their partners and 2 grandchildren. We were blown away by the spacious kitchen area, the wooden decking area and the surrounding grounds. There was always something to do,the playground for our 3 year old granddaughter and the vast area for the footballer fanatics! The house was immaculate, the beds very comfortable and the bathrooms were all spotless. We would love to visit again but sadly the house has been sold. Lucie was always a text message away if we had any queries. Absolutely loved it!!
Negative: We won't be able to return.

Positive: The space, the house, the hot tub, what a spacious home. Comfy beds, kitchen equipped with everything, and the seating outside is brilliant for groups of friends. It's such a shame the house is now sold as we would have booked to go again next year. Lucie, the housekeeper, was so helpful prior to our arrival and was happy to answer questions. We didn't want to come home at all.
Negative: Although was in middle of what felt nowhere, there was a busy road that was used as a racetrack by bikes and cars. Especially on meeting days at the raceway. And was quite noisy but settled down in evenings.

Positive: We really enjoyed our stay and loved how much land there was to explore. It was quiet and relaxing. The beds were comfy and it was very clean. There was more than enough of everything in the kitchen, such as cups and plates and cooking utensils. The downstairs wet room certainly made life easier for the great grandparents. We would definitely recommend and would love to come back. Great location to explore York too.
Negative: It didn’t have a microwave which wasn’t a massive issue but we expected one in such a big kitchen, the WiFi didn’t stretch to outside and you couldn’t all get round the tv as there was only 4 seats (yet the house hosts 8). We had to move sofas etc to accommodate. Again it’s not that much of a big deal but it could have been laid out slightly better to avoid us doing this.

Positive: Everything exceeded our expectations, the hot tub and grounds were fantastic. The kitchen area was a perfect hub for the family to get together. There was so much space for the dog, great location, super comfy beds and all with en suite bathrooms! The owners had thought of everything and the complimentary welcome back was delightful!
Negative: The TV area was a bit too small, couldn’t all watch TV at the same time, would’ve been better to have the TV on the right side of the house where the 3 bigger sofas are.
